Hello Peoples! I’m back. I was on a hiatus and now I have finished my said hiatus. *applause applause* I thought my first post would be the day we had our first snowfall. I heard we had a wintery mix. I didn’t see said mix, but I did hear about it. So I believe that qualifies as a snowfall, so here I am, better than ever, new and improved, probably pretty much the same. *ahem*

I am starting a new post, which I think I will enjoy, “Tales From the Bookstore.” I hope you enjoy it too.

Today I walk into the bookstore. I had my trusty phone out, to show the gentleman working, a photo of the book I would like to order. I ~ with confidence~ approach said gentleman.

I said, Excuse me sir. Could you order this book for me? I handed him my phone. He glanced at it.

Handing my phone back to me, he said, I will check the computer. He’s working diligently at this point in time.

He turns to me and says, Yes, I can order it, but it will be released in February. He smiled in a humorous manner.

I replied, Can you pre-order it?

Now he’s laughing. Yes I can pre order it for February. He hands me a form and a pen. Fill this out and we will pre-order it for you. He’s still chuckling.

I filled out the form and handed it back to him.

He said, We will call you when it arrives in February. He’s laughing out loud now.

I laughing too. I respond, Go ahead and call. I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere. Now we’re both cackling.

I did manage to leave the bookstore.
