Pink Climbing Roses

Inspired by an Italian building covered in pink climbing roses, I wanted to capture their beauty in my A6 art journal – I hope you like it too (smile).

To see how it all came together, please check out my YouTube video below; the link to my YouTube channel Let’s Art Journal so, if you wish, you can Like my video and Subscribe to my channel too.

In this video, we’ll take you on a creative journey as we show you how to combine stunning florals with mixed media techniques to produce a one-of-a-kind art journal page. From selecting the perfect colours to adding textures and embellishments, I’ll share the steps I took to help you unleash your artistic side.

The mixed media I used to create this page was Stamperia Oh la la Stamp Set, Distress Archival Ink, Stamperia House of Roses Stencil, Distress Ink, Stamperia House Of Roses Card Making Pack, Crafter’s Companion Glue Tape Pen, and Stamperia Washi Pad.

The beautiful building covered in roses that inspired this page was in Salò, Lake Garda, Italy.

The roses were so pretty (smile!).

Thanks so much for joining me today. If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

Happy and creative wishes! x

Challenges

The lovely Chris from Pearshaped Crafting is hosting over at Art Journal Journey this month; she has chosen Hot Summer (Nights and Days) as her theme and so I wanted to join her one more time and share with my summery roses page.
