Human Dynamics Research

Participating journal: Computational Urban Science
The rapid evolution of technology has transformed the world into a hybrid realm where physical and virtual environments converge, reshaping how we understand human needs, behaviors, and interactions. This special issue invites contributions that advance computational frameworks and methods to explore the integration of these environments, emphasizing the ethical, social, and spatial implications of hybrid interactions. By adopting a human-centered convergence research framework, we seek to transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and uncover innovative insights that promote resilience, equity, and sustainability. Submissions focusing on the application of emerging technologies like the metaverse, generative AI, and quantum computing, alongside actionable case studies, are encouraged to drive interdisciplinary collaboration and shape the future of human dynamics research.
