Aree Yah originally referred to as Yaa Oforiwaa Ofori–Sey hails from Cape Coast in the central region of Ghana , Aree Yah is a Ghanaian Singer-songwriter with soothing and uplifting vocal abilities giving her a unique sound and control over afrobeat and pop melodies. From her early career stages as a church singer, Oforiwaa now known as Aree Yah honed her craft, grasping all the rudiments of the art – vocal chord progressions, writing and composing a vast number of songs – which laid a firm foundation to build her professional music career. She acknowledges her vocal prowess and song writing skills as her top two strengths and for that draws a lot of inspiration from icons like Kojo Antwi, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks.
