Soma Roots Dance with Brycken Olive Soma (body) Roots (source) is a dance style that has been inspired by cross-cultural indigenous dance. I blend my traditional and contemporary African/Hawaiian foundation with my own signature style. Learn the steps and isolations, with a focus on dancing from our core. There is always an emphasis on Hips, Belly, Booty and Style! Some of the choreographies follow a storyline that can be metaphorically related to your life.
