Cycle Chala City Bacha is a citizen’s movement promoting non-motorised transport, with a VISION to make Mumbai the Cycling Capital of India by 2030. Cycle Chala City Bacha is a citizen’s movement promoting non-motorised transport, with a VISION to make Mumbai the Cycling Capital of India by 2030. It is headed by the first Bicycle Mayor of Mumbai, Firoza Suresh and it's ward-wise team of 24 Bicycle Councillors and Marshals. C3B is keen to bring diverse groups from various wards, communities, genders and income groups together to create a people-friendly and inclusive city. Identifying cycle-friendly routes, cycle stands and tracks is the next step towards building cycling infrastructure, in collaboration with the civic authorities. Road safety is a major concern for C3B and it is on the agenda to create an environment of discipline and caution amongst commuters.
