If you have two minutes I would so appreciate your feedback on this project! The Icons of Margate & Cliftonville project comprises of 45 pieces of work made by the community in workshops created and led by Carson Parkin-Fairley. They are all a shrine to the creator, encompassing their passions in life and all the people they love. They are like a snapshot of a life. The work sits with 4 pieces artist Carson Parkin-Fairley created of 'local icons' who were nominated by the public and chosen by a selection committee. This project was funded by Arts Council England.

Carson Parkin-Fairley is an artist working with colour, worship and celebration. She creates shrines as odes to people's life stories - a perfect bespoke gift that celebrates the subject.
