I thought I would write this story immediately after my son was born. Instead, I spent the weeks following his birth blissed out, high on birth chemicals, and shocked to find that I'd seemingly left many things behind. I've had many questions about the unfolding of my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, but despite my attempts to listen inside for the answers, I didn’t get them until now. Let me start by saying that I now know with absolute certainty that we subconsciously request very specific experiences to heal what’s been hurt in the past. The entanglement of our subconscious mind and the quantum field (universe, God, however you label it) is truly the most powerful force in our lives. I hope to never disrespect it again. If you read my mold story, you know I struggle with where to start. For the sake of your attention span and my capacity for vulnerable self-expression, I’ll start with finding out I was pregnant.
