Anything positive you’ve read about Amaya Custom Cabinets in the past no longer applies. I was considering them for a project, but after doing some basic research, I’m headed elsewhere. The company is now run by someone named Marcos C, a self-proclaimed “cyber security specialist” from out of state, under the LLC Amaya Custom Manufacturing. Whether the original owners sold it to him or he somehow took it over—who knows—but the company as it exists today is not what it once was.

It feels like the place is being run into the ground. Based on my interactions with two different guys in early 2025, the focus seems to be more on high-energy sales vibes than actual craftsmanship or professionalism. When I finally spoke to someone who seemed more grounded and reasonable in May, he eventually stopped responding altogether—so even that didn’t lead anywhere. It doesn’t exactly inspire confidence when no one sticks around or follows through.

And the website? It’s bizarre. It’s clean and picture-perfect at first glance, but the more you look, the more off it feels. It has that AI-generated tone, with no staff names, no faces, no personality. Other local businesses proudly show their team, their shop, and their client work—this one hides behind a sleek front with no substance.
