First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville and Village of Hope partner together to host the Christmas Extravaganza for families in need in the Central Gwinnett Cluster. Children receive invitations through school counselors. Each child receives a Bible, socks, winter wear, and books. Parents shop in "Toyland" to select toys for their children. Tweens and teens (ages 11 to 18) receive a Kohl's gift card and hygiene items.

The donations that are given do not just make this event possible, but also make it an unbelievable experience for the families. Donations can be made through the Wish Lists (the items go directly to one of our volunteers). Hygiene items for our tweens & teens are on the Wish Lists, along with winter wear for all the children. In addition, you can write a check to Village of Hope (address below) or use the PayPal link below. The monetary donations help purchase Kohl’s gift cards that our tweens & teens receive, additional toys, food items, etc. 

You can also donate toys by shopping for NEW toys for children between the ages of birth and 10 years old. These donations can be dropped off at Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church on Tuesdays between 10:00 and 2:00. They can be left in the Welcome Center at the church on Wednesdays & Sundays.
