I offer the following online hour-long sessions:

- Biology/Chemistry pre-GCSE (£25)
- Biology/Chemistry GCSE (£25)
- Biology/Chemistry A-level (£30)

My lessons will focus on what the student needs the most support with, whether that be exam practice, understanding concepts or memorisation techniques. The lessons will also be personalised to fit the individual student’s learning style; possible teaching techniques include creating diagrams together, questions to test the student’s understanding and practising application of their knowledge in an exam format.

I'm passionate about widening access to Medicine, so I also offer Mock Medicine Interviews (£10 for an hour session).

My Mock Medicine Interviews will take the following format: 

I will start the call in the role of an interviewer, consisting of ~30 minutes asking you questions. In the next 30 minutes I will give you feedback and we will discuss the questions together, with the opportunity to retry questions if you’d like. My email will be available for further questions/advice.

My Qualifications

I enjoy being a part of students’ education as I find it a really rewarding process. I recently volunteered as a mock interviewer for the Cambridge Widening Access to Medicine Programme; this gave me the opportunity to help students reach their full potential, which I’m passionate about. In Year 13, I ran my Sixth Form’s Medicine Society, which involved helping students from lower years with applications, as well as encouraging them to further their scientific knowledge through research presentation and debates.

I have a variety of teaching experience, starting in Sixth Form when I tutored Mathematics on a biweekly basis. During my time at University I have volunteered with a society for scientific outreach, which involves giving talks about science to students of a large age range. Recently, I have delivered seminars about Pathology and Medicine to students in small groups, where I encouraged understanding through audience participation and presenting concepts in a clear manner.
