Scrap Map Saturday

Can you believe it another month has gone by? I cannot believe how fast the year is going and how little time you have when poorly babies are about. These past few weeks have been really bad for me as my youngest has been poorly off and on since Christmas, she just can’t seem to be well for longer then a week 😦 fingers crossed these antibiotics are going to work for her.

Hope you have been managing to enjoy the sun, hasn’t it been nice? There is nothing I like more then being able to hang my washing out to dry. Possibly a little sad but nevermind.

Anyway onto the reason for the post, today is scrap map saturday over at Creative Craft World challenge blog and to be in with a chance of winning a GDT slot and a kit then pop across here and join in. I’d love to see what you create 🙂

From 1st June I will be taking a little break from the shop so lots of goodies are ready to go in goody bags worth £75 for just £25. There is limited quantities so grab yours before they go. The kits and the retreat will be my focus for the meantime and also being able to be there for my girls. It coincides with a little holiday so watch this space for some exciting things coming soon.

Can you believe another month has gone by? I need to try and start blogging again on a regular basis but if I’m honest it’s hard finding the time at the moment. Life is manic but I will try.

Scrap Map & Blog Hop – March

Wow can you believe it’s March already? It’s official spring is here and it’s about time we had some sun and the hope of warmer weather. I know my girls are desperate to get out of the wooly hats and play in the garden again.

Anyway it’s time for another scrap map/ blog hop over at Creative Craft World and this month it’s all starry. Pop over to the blog here to start the hop if you have just arrived from Jen’s bloghere then your now in the right place!

This month I have managed to get a LO done because I’d been to 2 crops in one weekend at the beginning of February.

I have used some Echo Park little boy papers, I needed cheering up and the colours just made the wintery weekend seem not quite so bad.

I’m at a crop today so fingers crossed I get some more crafting done I’m so behind and after night shifts at hospital this week haven’t had much time to do anything.

BtCR February 25th

My Christmas card tally to date … t 0

The linky party carries on over at Creative Craft World. Our aim is to be well ahead with Christmas card making when November 25th arrives. We all know how crazy December is so this year I have to be organised.

I’m going to do my best to make five cards each month so that it won’t be such a blind panic trying to get organised later on in the year. This month I have been very naughty and not even finished one card, but I have started one. I promise to make more for next month. Life has been manic and I’m sure you all know how tough the last few have been for me.

Each month the design team will be featuring their favourite card from the previous month’s linkies.

My favourite from last month is by Shirley and can be found here I think the reindeer is super cute.

Can you believe we’re in February all ready? The year is flying by, life is really hectic and crazy but fingers crossed will calm down soon.

Well I am finally joining the world of peeking into other people’s worlds and seeing their desks.

Sorry I’ve been AWOL for a few weeks life been hectic and we’ve all been quite poorly but fingers crossed we are all on the mend now.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new year? Any resolutions made? I’m trying to scrap my year this year so am going to scrap my resolutions I think. So look out for them.

Anyway onto what’s on my work desk, well this week I’m busy cake making as opposed to scrapping so my desk this week is my kitchen,

I was lucky enough to get a cricut cake for Christmas so I have been playing with it making dad a birthday cake. Poppy chose to decorate with dinosaurs – she has a thing about dragons and dinosaurs at the moment so that’s what we did.

Right I’m off to have a peek around some desks and see what you’ve all been up to.

Our First Scrap Map of 2013

I cannot believe I am writing 2013 already it seems so scary!

Anyway as it is the first saturday of the month it means there is a brand new scrap map over on the Creative Craft World blog, so pop on over here to check out the beautiful LO’s created using the scrap map.

Christmas Countdown 2012 – Day 28

Welcome to day 28 of the creative craft world christmas countdown, today is my turn to share my last festive project with you. Each year we give someone a bottle of wine and I always feel like they aren’t personalised much being put into a gift bag, so this year I have decided to make some gift tags to go over the bottle neck.

There are many ways to make them and I am in the process of making some more so will add throughout the month to show you how to make different versions. My other project is my gift box which is holding a gift for a friend, I can’t show you as they read my blog and I don’t want them to know.
