We had so much fun these few days. Tiring but I am feeling like a whole new person, partly because I have found what I am looking for. Gyming for three days straight was fun. And we`re trying yoga soon. It`s gotta be better than this. 🙂

Oh ya, btw the Japanese restaurant at B1 Herren was cool. The waffle is so nice and cheap and also the japanese omelette with tons of complimentary shaved bacon. Anyone hungry? I am and I am going out alr. tata

Btw, two nice movies that I strongly wanna recommend. Especially for this boring holiday season for some of you couch potatoes. 

“Raise your voice”. This movie revolves around MUSIC. Yeah! music! And what`s better. Hillary Duff is innit! It`s not because I like her, and secondly, I am still sticking to Mariah`s vocals anytime, man! I  just that the whole story line really is like my life` s story. All the music, performing etc. And my bro is still alive btw. lol

You should watch it, especially you and those die hard music school applicant wannabe. 

Next on my list would be “What a girl wants”. This is a pretty cute movie. For those who love British accent and talk. You should watch it. Reminds me of a royal encounter.

And oh ya, these movies are not exactly new so you might want to try the Ezmovie or something.

Sorry guys about yesterday. I had to rush here and there from town to the East just to attend 15 minutes of time with you all. Even though my schedules were quite hectic, not mentioning that I had to cancel a few appointments, resulting in my other friends being unhappy, I still made it to Jacob`s place yesterday. And thank God, God is still good to me. After the worker`s meeting ended yesterday, my friend still called and asked me out for dinner at the Marriot Hotel. It was a very chic and elegant Chinese restaurant and yea, thanks to my friend who treated me to their famous Peking duck. So you see, if you put God above all else, above all your friends, He will make a way for you. He will not shortchange you. 🙂 So yea, back and forth from town to Bedok, from Bedok to town again like some crazy fellow. I am happy that I didn`t miss a single thing also. Well, at least I had time to gym, share and have my dinner date. That`s really a lot of things in one day, ya know. 🙂

Today was suntanning and gyming as usual and the sun was good and everything else was perfect. Except a few people that stared at me. lol. 

Oh ya btw, I dun need to buy a guitar stand alr cos my mother had bought one for me from Indo. Thank you.  It was a nice polished stainless steel. Just right for me guitar. Why spend so much money and time on someone or something, when you can actually get the things you hope for from your own trusted flesh and blood ? =DD Welcome to my life.

I am tired. Anyway, just something to reflect on the camp.

Yes, it has been a pleasant experience. The encounter with Jesus through the fellowship that we had, the ‘miracles’ that I had asked and was given and of course through the teachings and workshops.

The Star award was cool. I loved the Christina Aguillera`s “Candy Man” and “Aint no other man” that were played when the ULs entered the hall. And even though there were some mistakes here and there (c`mon, we only had one hour to practise leh), everything went quite smoothly. So proud of Kar Chun who won the prize. Everybody was dressed very interestingly and there were a few people that caught my eyes. Even though I didn`t stay for the camp, due to some unforseen circumstances, I had an enjoyable camp experience minus the mosquitoes and perspirations. lol 

Just wanna share one memorable gift that God has given me on two days of the camp.

I was walking with Cedric through Jalan Lekar, the very very long woody forresty stretch of road that was insects and mosquitoes laden. You know I hate long walks especially on a rainy or hot day. Either extremes and I`ll hate it. And I was praying for something. I didn`t know what I was praying for exactly but suddenly a silver car just appeared in front of me. I was like, omg!! I was so lucky!! like what most people would feel. Thank God for the car, man. It came just at the exact timing while it was raining heavily and I was sharing a small umbrella with Cedric. Wow, God really cares for me, I thought 🙂 So with that, we all entered the camp vicinity glamorously…insect bites free! lol

On another occasion, I was walking with Cedric again into the same stretch of road. And I was wondering aloud. I think Cedric heard it. I was like, “Do u think we`ll be as blessed like yesterday to have a car to transport us to the camp site?” And I didn`t put so much hope into it,

Suddenly a yellow car came along. And uncle Chris, the camp landlord was in it. I was like, omg!! this is too much of a coincidence. Another car on a consecutive day, cant be true. Too much of a blessing alr. And yes, with that we rode glamorously into the camp site. Thank God for both of them!! God came in at the exact timings here. How incredible. 

Another blessing that I received during the camp. I don`t know whether I should share this one or not, for fear that you all might go, “what?!?!?!” HAHA, allright, anyway, I was looking for a place to shower on the very hot and humid day. And I knew deep in my heart that the guy`s toilet down the hill was a no no for me. I was really desperately looking for a clean and decent place to shower and I decided to go into the girls` living quarter, as directed by a friend. I was waiting and waiting and you know what?? Thank God for Pastor Jasmine who actually allowed me to bathe in her toilet in the master bedroom! That was sooo nice of her. I was deeply touched. Must really set her example. At first I was like, I couldn`t believe it… I was bathing in the ‘holiest’ place in the camp site. HAHA:) Anyway, thank you Jen, Li yan and Jasmine if you`re reading this =D

And yeah last but not least, I went shopping after my supp paper yesterday at Raffles city. I bought my Holy toner and cleanser from Israel. And my skin really improved dramatically after using them! They claim to be able to heal skin allergies and are perfect even on dry and sensitive skins. This is a must buy! Especially when the ingredients are 100% from the Dead sea from Israel, where Jesus once roamed the earth. And it`s not expensive also! Good things are not necessarily expensive. 

Now Jesus is in my toner also and on my face every time I apply my toner. LOL. Actually it makes sense what…God is everywhere! Amen. He is in every molecules in your body and just about everywhere. In a stone, tree, sea, air, everywhere! He is the energy that started it all, this whole big bang, evolution thingy. Without Him there`s no start, there`s no you and me. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Just something to reflect on tonight.

Allright, battle is over now. And I know Jesus has conquered it for me. I hope for the best.

I `ve got lots of camp pics that I wanna upload to share with all of you faithfull readers, will upload them as soon as I come back home. Now, I am feeling so exhausted after the battle. The whole camp, I couldn`t find a peace of mind, man. In my head, there was only my supp and … the rest were like clouding my mind like, I dunno how to describe it now. Will do so after I got back my senses.

Oh ya, anticipate my camp article very soon. All the wonderful miracles that God has put into my life these 3 days at camp.

Thank God for my mum too. She bought a guitar stand for me from Indo!! Yay!!

Had a hot and fun day today. And it`s not because I suntanned or smth. Read on..

Met Huimei at Anchor point to help her with things and also to transport all my goodies and prizes for those who deserve them. We got really nice prizes and hampers for the game and stuff cos I was the one choosing only the best goodies for you all. HAHA. Sooooo work hard if you wanna win some!! HEHE

Really exited for the camp tonite, even though I know I won`t be staying over. Well, at least not for this time. Because of various circumstances which I won`t disclose here. I finally got to go with the team to the campsite today. It was my first time sitting at the back of a truck, like some bangla. LOL. Not trying to be racist, but I sure felt that way, especially when I was perspiring like crazy in my singlet. haha. I felt like some construction worker now. So unglam….yea…haha

Upon reaching the camp site, it was a shock to me. Well, I visited the gals` living quarter first and wow, they have a master bedroom!!! not fair!!! and guess who would be sleeping in that queen sized bed? I know who. Their toilets are quite awesome too. A very far cry compared to the guys` at the very bottom of the mosquitoes laden hill. And omg I saw a septic tank not far from the toilet. Ewww.  Sleeping conditions are not like in the LC. This time is much worse. Ummm, not trying to discourage or turn anyone off here, but to be truthful, I thought the tent that would hold our 80+ guys in the hot and humid Singapore were worse than what the American soldiers are having in Afganistan. 

No one says this camp is gonna be like a resort and spa stay like Clubmed. But I am sure we`re gonna get something out of this! What we`re gonna experience may not be close to Paris Hilton`s ‘The Simple life, but I am cocksure we`re gonna experience Jesus in this camp!! Nothing more nothing less. I wanna hear God speak to me again in the cool night breeze like how he used to. The mosquitoes may be having a bloody feast with us in camp and we know we`re their meals, but remember how much blood Jesus had lost on the cross for us. He lost his blood but gained something Bigger. The same power that conquered the grave lives in me.

Contemporary generation!

Yay, almost everything is settled for camp now, except one thing. My heart. Maybe it`s also because I am having one supp paper on Monday, the following day after camp. What a bad bad timing. Why must it be on Mon?? Argh..I guess I am not going to stay over nite on Sat after theme night. And fri nite too…sad sad 😦  

God dropped me this powerful insight on my way to school this morning on the bus. 

“The same power that conquered the grave lives in me. Your love that rescued the earth lives in me.”

Perhaps I remembered these words as the lyrics to the song called “You are here” And the whole songs doesn`t have any other words other that those above. The whole line is repeated again and again till it fades. Wow. What a unique song. Just two sentences like that can give birth to a beautiful song. And I believe these words did not come from the songwriters out of the blue just like that. These are hidden messages in the bible, or what I feel as the essence of what the whole bible is trying to say to us. Christ died for us because He loves us and wants us to be like him (1 John 3:2). He is in a way showing us a great and perfect example of love and how we can be like him too. To have compassion for people. To love your neighbours as you love your God. He is a perfect example. It makes sense when he says, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Only He who is a perfect manifestation can say this. If he is the Son of God. We are the children of God. You are the sons and daughters of God. To have great faith like Jesus is indeed implausible for many of us. But it is not impossible. Nothing is impossible with God. Thank you God for showing my path and meaning of life once again. I need this kind of reminder from you everyday.

Back from all those shopping for camp. And No, I am not shopping for anything but perfumes. And they are not for me either.  Figure that out! 😉

Going out again for dinner and some fun. Will be a rough nite. 

Anyway, talking about nite, yesterday nite, What Ps Jeff preached was kind of a  remma word for me. Can`t believe that he actually preached about music. Well, not exactly all about music, the voice too, but yea, it was the kind of sermon that did not bore me at all. 

So you see, what I have been talking about about singing, music, etc is indeed true. I am so proud of God who makes music the music we love today. So talk about singing, let`s get down to serious business, ppl. A great song I love. And it`s all about the voice again. Because it`s all from that voice that comes praise and worship. A soulful voice. Unison.

Shit la, one sms destroyed my slackin` holiday life completely. Now I have one supp paper to study for. But thank God for the two subjects which my project members “pang sei” me. MIO and MSA. I passed them with flying colors. “C” and “D+” respectively. Quite an achievement for something that I don`t like. And it`s all because of you. MLS is also not very bad. “C” I think. Music, OMG!!! So disappointed. Mariah, dun slap me!! Now, my holiday is completely destroyed. No more tanning, no more gyming, no more cruising like a free man. The enemy wants to re-battle. And I have to get my arse back to mugging for the stupid EEMACC again. My last chance. dun wanna lose it. “Dun let the enemy win, Marco!”

The greatest gift I have ever received in life is the joy I receive when I am using my voice to relieve stress. You know what I mean, shouting at the top of my lungs, belting Whitney and Christina in the shower and anywhere I can release myself. And of course in tune, trying not to hit any wrong notes that would sound weird. LOL. So far, the neighbours haven`t really been complaining about my voice. Just a few who can`t really appreciate arts and would hate Mariah and Celine to death. Crazy vocal acrobatics, I would term it. What you have seen or heard me sing outside is just a grain of sand compared to what I have been doing out of your sight. You have to hear it to believe it. hehee

This holiday is for me to learn to be more humble and acknowledge that Yes, there is only one Whitney Houston, not two! There will never be another Whitney. And there will never be another Me. My advice to everyone is, like Whitney herself said: “If you want to be the best, you watch the BEST!!” 

I also want to know more about my voice and get more intimate with it. And hopefully be able to teach and impart others. I`ve already got a few who have asked me about teaching them the art of singing. Singing can`t be taught. It can only be mastered. If you understand what I mean. ^^ But yeah, if God has given me this thing, He can give you too:)

I guess I`ll just let God do His transformation in me. Make me into a humbler person so that in time, when I am ready for this, you`ll let me take the path.

Went to gym yesterday after my suntan. The sun was incredible yesterday, Thank God for the sun, man. And wootss!! Went to have some fun after that. ^^

Anyway, something from me again and this time it`s not about singing or music whatsoever. Hope this will be a real source of motivation for you and me to train hard this holiday. And to start gyming and all. So those couch potatoes and “Zai nan” out there..Work your arse off this season!!

Anyway, now presenting my favourite gymnastic of all time, Zou Kai!! You may be wondering why I post this vid. Well, for a start, he`s freakin` young for an olympic star and just look at his charismatic smile that melts millions of girls’ hearts in China and around the world:) He is an inspiration to me and and yeah, he can sing too. Quite amazingly. I am surprised. I`ll post the video of him singing in my next post, just to keep you wanting for more. And btw, he looks exactly like one of my friend back in school. So yea, …start envying. (Girls screaming)

Yesterday was surprisingly a very fun and incredible day for me.

I did some publicity for the camp publicity team which was all right la. Next week onwards, it`ll just get busier and busier. And for some of you who are wondering, NO, I am not in the publicity team:) I am merely helping them out with stuff cos I think that was the least I could do to help them, me being in the Event management team. So, as far as the camp is concerned, I`ll do my best for everything. I hope.

After service we all went to Istana Park to welcome our new transfers!! It was a fun outing, a slight deviation from the norm, I would say. At least now, we got to be more “united” as a unit which is really really good. And of cos with the girls around, we`re sure to have our dose of fun. The games were cool I would say. They did a good job:) And even though I couldn`t quite catch it due to the high level of noise and eggcitement, I was glad to see everyone enjoying themselves at the very least.  The day ended with some Pizzas which were cold. HEHE. But fair enough, they tasted great!! And of course some interaction with the freshies:)

Anyway, for those of you who were a bit “bo chup” about yesterday`s publicity booth that we had at Nexus, here`s something not to miss out, cos if you do, I can`t help you much. LOL  

Allright, for our campus, TP, we`re already given a theme which is “Moulin Rouge”. We`re supposed to dress to this theme on the Special night during the Second night of our POLYDINS camp. Go search in the internet for more dress info and stuff. For the good of everybody here, I `m going to post some.

So glad to see my blog finally hit 50 views per day. Hope it doesn`t just shoot there when the weekend starts. Went to robinson for a Biotherm party justnow after from Cali Raffles. And I bought something pretty good too. And oh ya, the food platter was very inviting too. Looking forward to more parties like these. I just can`t love those stuff enuff!!

Anyway, we were just done with our cg at the comfort of my house justnow. And I was freakin` embarrassed cos I was late, coming to my own home for cg. LOL. Blame those parties loh..

Eggcited for tomorrow cos we were told that there would be some new transfers coming over our side. This means something, ppl!! TP has grown by a few people again. Well, not exactly “grown”. But who cares, We love it when we grow, do we? 🙂

Not many new talents nowadays. Quick updates: (see below) Quite catchy melodies I would say. Pretty forgettable melodies with cute lyrics. I don`t see myself jumping up and down shouting, “Gosh, I think I`ve found what I like in this industry!!”

The video makes this song unforgettable. Particularly because of the interesting choice of emotions they employ as well as story line used to help deliver the music. Watching the video, I cringed at the thought of my future girlfriend throwing all my stuffs out of the window. I am so like gonna f***ing murder her alive!! LOL

The video cleverly portrays Kelly`s playful side which is a good refreshing turn from the usual glamour and the oh-I-am-so-talented-I-won-the-American Idol kind of image. 🙂

Cute. The song reminds me of my first crush in high school. The vid could be a sweet thing but not when it starts to sound like Hillary Duff after a few replays. Ouch. Vocal: Ok; Look: Ok; Concept :Interesting but not original enough. Try harder, Swiftly before another new divaesque gal breaks the scene.

I had a sudden craving to listen to this song after an American Idol contestant tried singing this a few days ago. And failed. The original is still better. Motto of the story: No one else can sing your better than you do. 

A new elegant theme for a fresh new start. I like the Regal look. Just appropriate. For a poet and minimalist like me.

Yesterday service was quite encouraging. We watched Pink Panther 2 after that. It was not as bad as it sounded like. I thought it was some cheap slapstick comedy. But it turned out rather amusing at the end. 

I guess I need a lot more singing before I am ready for this. This gal can really sing. WOW

If I ever have a girlfriend, maybe a few decades from now, I don`t care if she`s older than me..haha, jkjk. She has to sing like her. So we both could collaborate. How cool. Can sing all day, record a neat album, perform live..the list goes on and on..
