I'm 2 months old!!

My sweet little Boonie is already two months old. Oh where has my newborn gone. This little boy is all smiles and delight nowadays. He is so much fun. I am so thankful for this little angel in my life. I'm so lucky to be his mommy.

Fun things Boone is doing:

He will smile at you and it will melt your heart.
He has started saying "Hey." Whenever we leave him alone or put him in his bouncy chair and do something else, he will sit there and say HEY until someone comes back.
He also says "Apple." Yes my child is advanced. Haha... but really he says "Apple" over and over again when he's getting sleepy.
He is a motion baby. He LOVES to be on the move - bouncing, swinging, you name it.
Tomorrow he gets his shots. :(
He loves bath time.
He's only getting up once a night.
When he's done eating he will sit there and smile at me and talk away.
He's a talker and I love it.
He has outgrown a lot of his 3 month old clothes - I'm starting to get out the 3 to 6 months sizes.

He is just a joy and a charmer. I love this little guy more than anything.

Darci Leybas

Please meet the long anticipated Darci Leybas!! She arrived Tuesday morning at 5:04 am weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. and just as perfect as can be.

While holding her I couldn't help but think of how light she was compared to my little guy. It is SO amazing how much they change in just a short 8 weeks. Darci, little Boone is so happy to be back with you. You are already so loved.

Boone's Blessing

Little Boonie got blessed this past Sunday the 7th. It was such a special day. We go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and when babies are born their fathers (if they hold the Priesthood) get to bless their babies to start out their lives. For more information on our church and what we believe click here. Mason gave Boone a beautiful blessing. It was wonderful to have all my family together for this as well. Mason's parents and Ryan flew in for the occasion. We all felt very loved and supported.

He looked so handsome in his little suit. The blanket that Boone got blessed in was the baby blanket that my parents used when I got blessed. That was special.

I'm a bit sad that Eric is missing from this picture. He had to go to work, but atleast he was there for the blessing.

That's all the farther his little eyes would open... too bright. :)

I have been feeling so grateful for my life and my family. I am so thankful that I know that families are forever and that we are sealed together. My Heavenly Father has blessed me so much with this perfect little family and I love it and Him so much. My heart just feels so full of love and thanks for everything I have.

Cornfield Fun...

We went to Saguro Park this weekend to take pregnant pictures with Kyle and Stacey (to come later) and we decided to take some fun family pictures too. I apologize in advance for all the many, many pictures... but it's just so fun taking pictures of your baby!!

I wish I would have done my hair this day... but that's ok. The 'new' Lefler family!! Our first family picture!!

Little Boonie loves to be carried by his daddy in this hold. It's the most comfy place in the world.

Boone was crying and Mason started holding him like this and he LOVED it!! I was a bit worried, but he seemed perfectly content!! Then Mason wanted to do the abusive father pose - drinking his milk and all. :)

Stacey's Baby Shower

A couple of weeks ago I threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law Stacey whose baby, Darci, is due two weeks from today!! We had it at a girl in her wards house. It turned out really nice and we all had a lot of fun.

Stacey's 3 sisters and mom flew in the night before to surprise her. 2 of her 3 sisters are also pregnant so this was the only time that they were going to be together during this fun time in their lives. I'm so glad that they made it. They totally made the party!!

One of the games the guests were split up into groups and had to cut pictures out of magazines and create what they thought little Darci would look like. At the end I collected the pictures, gave them to Stacey, and which ever one she chose, that group got the prize. These pictures turned out to be HILARIOUS!!!! Which one would you have chosen?

And the winner was... Darci number 3!!! They all turned out SO cute!!

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. It's close to my favorite holiday and I have lots of posts to catch up on, but until then... I hope you all had a wonderful one!
