MOVE STRONG for PD is a completely free- virtual exercise event and friendly competition designed to unite a community of people with PD around the world through movement, education, and social engagement. Our #1 goal of this 12-week program is to empower individuals with PD with the tools, confidence, and support needed to move more and live stronger—physically, mentally, and socially.
Participants simply continue doing the activities they already perform—whether walking, stretching, strength training, boxing, cycling, balance work, or mobility exercises—and earn points by tracking their activity using commonly available devices such as Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or smartphone step and activity data. All activity is centralized into a single platform and displayed on a live leaderboard, creating a shared global experience without requiring travel, classes, or in-person attendance. All activity is rewarded, creating an inclusive environment, for all those with PD to participate regardless of their ability level.
