Birds at Gilbert Creek

While photographing at Gilbert Creek Wildlife area I encountered a large number of Barn Swallows. There was also a mature Bald Eagle sitting in a tree.

 

Barn Swallow Convention

Earlier this fall I was mowing the lawn and noticed a large number of Barn Swallows sitting on my TV antenna. I usually see them gathering on the telephone wires after their young have fledged but this was the first time I had seen them on the TV antenna so I stopped mowing and took a few photos.
