Today I am rejoicing,
for in heaven my name
is written in God’s book . . .
when saved ~ I became.
Today I am jubilant,
for I will be adorned
with garments of salvation
now that I am reborn.
Today I am rejoicing,
for in hope I’m bounding
my joy is overflowing
my faith is resounding.
Today I am excited,
I am filled with gladness
for Jesus has given me
everlasting happiness
Today I am rejoicing,
over receiving my crown
for up in heaven . . .
God wrote my name down!

Sometimes I too am joyful and confident but that Calvinism is pounded into our head that there is no assurance.
