CHRISTmas is the celebration,
of an incredible act of Love
for God sent to this earth
His begotten Son from above.
There is no other Love,
none that can out shine
no other that can our hearts
with God’s very own align.
CHRISTmas is the celebration,
of the birth of our King . . .
the triumph jubilation
of the peace He will bring.
It’s the fulfilling or prophecy,
with God a reconciliation
and so He gave us Jesus
the author of our salvation.
CHRISTmas is the celebration,
a new covenant of God’s favor
a Light unto the darkness
is Jesus Christ our Savior!

A Gift from God,
a Savior born
on one starlit
glorious morn.
A small Babe,
a virgin’s Son
imparting grace
to everyone.
A Man, a Prince,
a coming King
who in an blink
peace will bring.
A Good Shepherd,
a sacrificial Lamb
the beloved Son
of the great I AM.
A Gift from God,

This year give a fruit basket,
to everyone you know . . .
fill it with Love and affection
until it begins to overflow.
Pack it with a bunch of Peace,
put into it some Tenderness
don’t forget to stock it with . . .
a whole lot of Gentleness.
Be sure to add some Faith,
Temperance and Patience
when you mix it all together . . .
it’ll release a pleasing fragrance.
Place into it Self-Control.
pile on high a lot of Meekness
top it off with endless Joy . . .
for a basket full of Goodness.
This year make up a fruit basket,
then pass it all around
tell others of the hope . . .
that in Jesus you have found!

The gift of God’s goodness,
is ours to give away . . .
for, we must always be ready
to show kindness every day.
The simple gift of a smile,
may brighten another’s day
giving someone a compliment
can go a long, long way.
A quick little thank you,
might be all someone needs
any selfless act of charity
should be in all our deeds.
We don’t need a lot of money,
to spread around compassion
we just need a heart for God
Jesus the center of our passion.
The gift of God’s goodness,
is ours to give away . . .
for we never know whose heart
our actions to God will sway!

May the gift of self-control,
be something daily you present
may you show self-restraint
when others do things to upset.
May you manage your temper,
when others have lost theirs
may you defuse the situation
whenever tensions start to flare.
May you hold your own tongue,
when others are being rude
may your silence be what alters
the unpleasantness of their mood.
May you harness your pride,
when others ego’s are inflated
may your constraint cause . . .
their arrogance to be deflated.
May the gift of temperance,
you give to others everyday
may you have self-control . . .

This Christmas we all need,
to give the gift of peace . . .
to put aside our differences
so our serenity may increase.
We need to be less agitated,
with those whom we disagree
we need the Gospel of peace
to be contention’s referee.
This year we need to find,
a way to heal the pain
we need to end our quarreling
so tranquility we can gain.
We need to get beyond the past,
find forgiveness in our heart
if we want to find harmony
from discord we must depart.
This Christmas we all need,
to share the peace Jesus brings
we must be willing to partake . . .
in glad tidings of good things!

so others may embrace
the saving power . . .
of God’s mercy and grace.
Share your confidence,
how certain you’re forgiven
let them know your life . . .
is now Holy Spirit driven.
Share your assurance,
of the hope inside you
tell others how Jesus . . .
makes everything new.
Share your daily reliance,
in Jesus for all things
tell others of the future
peace He is going to bring.
Give the gift of faith,
tell others why you trust
that believing in Jesus . . .
is an eternal must!

Share the gift of eternal joy,
let it rise out of you each day
let the happiness you feel
leave its mark along your way.
Tell everyone about Jesus,
the gladness that He brings
let them know He’s the reason
your heart this season sings.
Show your joyfulness,
sing out loud your praise
let people see why Jesus
has you feeling so amazed.
Let your gusto be seen by all,
for the joy of your salvation
let them see the birth of Jesus
is the cause for your elation.
Share the gift of eternal joy,
everyday throughout the year
let all see your blissfulness . . .
is more than just holiday cheer!

Tis the season
to be jolly . . . .
but don’t get caught
up in all the folly.
For, it’s not about,
the jingle bells
or dashing off
to all the sales.
It’s about Immanuel,
the virgin Babe born
so long ago
one early morn.
It’s not about,
the office party
or if Santa
will be tardy.
It’s about God’s love,
shinning from afar
it’s about His promise
of Jacob’s Star.
It’s not about,
the food we buy
or if we’ll make
some kind of pie.
It’s about the hope
that Jesus brings
it’s about His glory
that the angels sing.
It’s not about,
the presents we get
or the gifts we buy
putting us into debt.
It’s about Jesus’ Life,
His Truth, His Way . . .
it’s about salvation gift
we celebrate the day.
Tis the season,
to be grateful . . .
for God being to us
true and faithful!

There’s only one Gift,
that fits one and all . . .
it doesn’t matter your size
or if you’re big or small.
It’s the perfect Gift,
it has a lifetime guarantee
it’s not something you’ll find
under your Christmas tree.
You cannot buy it in a store,
it’s not for auction or sale
you can’t find it on the web
or in ad’s sent in the mail.
You cannot send for it,
or ask it to be sent to you
it’s a gift where you’ll find
there’s nothing to buy or to do.
There’s only one Gift I know of,
that fit’s the whole human race
it’s a Gift only Jesus can give . . .
and it’s called His saving grace!

It’s a wonderful life,
when in Jesus you believe
it’s a fantastic experience
when God’s gift you receive.

peace, joy and rest

CHRISTmas . . .
is joy immeasurable,
the perfect gift of love
it’s serenity and harmony
God’s grace sent from above
It’s forever life changing,
it makes all things new
it’s freeing and liberating
it restores and renews.
It’s hope for the future,
the wiping away of tears
it’s strong and powerful
the remedy for all fears.
It brings inner healing,
it’s like a refreshing rain
it soothes and eases
it’s the cure for all pain.
It brings forgiveness,
deliverance from sin
it provides the only way
to have true peace within.
It’s comforting and calming,
the end to worldly strife
it’s cleansing and purifying
it brings everlasting life.
It’s love immeasurable,

God gave to all a gift,
a present like no other
some openly receive it
others with it don’t bother.
Some take their whole lives,
to unwrap God’s loving gift
some from the get go
don’t believe it will ever fit.
Some accept it openly,
some keep it under-wraps
some make it their whole life
some think it is just a trap.
Some take their time,
to understand what’s inside
some instantly push the gift
of grace and mercy aside.
God gave to all a free Gift,
of His begotten, beloved Son
and He desires it to be . .
received by each and everyone!

The birth of baby Jesus,
our Lord and Savior
holds a special place in heart’s
who accept God’s favor.
For we embrace the Light,
He brought to us that day
we know He is the Truth
to His Father the only Way.
We relish in the eternal joy,
of what His life means to us
our greatest pleasure comes
when in Him we put our trust.
We know mercy’s fragrance,
the aroma of God’s grace
and we can hardly wait . . .
till we meet Him face to face.
For the Prince of our Peace,
came to save us from our sin
through His almighty power
His Spirit now lives within.
Each of us who treasures,
the offer of His everlasting love
keeps their hearts and minds
on the eternal gift from above!

Joy banishes all fear,
removes any doubt
joy that’s everlasting
cannot be cast out.
Joy is the Good News,
a Savior has come
joy opens the door
to His eternal kingdom.
Joy that is great,
brings endless gladness
joy that is eternal
brings to all happiness.
Joy is for everyone,
to have and behold
this kind of joy
is heavenly gold.
Joy sets free a sinner,
brings glory to God
all who come to Jesus
will be joyfully awed!

This CHIRSTmas . . .
I’m decorating my heart,
with the wrappings of God’s love
tying a ribbon around my soul
with His blessings from above.
I going to avoid all the malls,
and stop not at a single store
the only present I will give
is the One that will restore.
I’m giving the gift of forgiveness,
sending cards about His grace
I’m letting the glory of His birth
beam across my thankful face.
I’m opening up my home,
for everyone to come and see
the light of His beauty
so to celebrate His birth with me.
I’m serving a dish of CHRISTmas joy,
and offering up some good cheer
we will feast upon His holiness
and rejoice that our Savior’s here.
I’m baking Him up a special cake,
singing to Him a birthday song
and a slice of His love and mercy
I’ll give out for all to take along.
This CHRISTmas . . .
I’m giving the gift of Jesus,
at naught at cost to me . . .
I’m sending out the message,
there is One gift that is truly free!

A Savior was born,
hallelujah sing . . .
for peace to the world
He promised to bring.
The Good News came,
to save one and all
salvation He promised
when on His name we call.
God’s indescribable Gift,
promised to everyone
a Babe in a manger
His only begotten Son.
The Light of the World,
brings life eternal
with the promise to save
all from hell’s infernal.
A child was born,
can I get an amen . . .
for Jesus is the promised
Savior of all of men!

Why do you celebrate,
what is it about the day
that makes you feel thankful
when Merry CHIRSTmas you say?
Is it the birth of Jesus,
that makes you embrace
God’s gift to the world
of His love and grace.
What is it about the holiday,
that makes your heart sing
is it just the gifts you give
and the ones others bring?
Or is it the eternal gift,
of hope, joy and peace
Jesus promise to us all
that would never end or cease?
Why do you celebrate,
CHRISTmas today . . .
will you understand it’s impact
when it is Good Friday?

I’m making for You a cake

I got you a fantastic gift,
it didn’t cost me a thing
but oh, what joy and cheer
to you it’s going to bring.
I hope you’ll accept it,
I pray you’re willing to receive
this special gift of mine
and that in it you will believe.
The wrapping isn’t special,
but, it’s so beautiful inside
I’m asking you to take it
not to toss or push it aside.
For in it you will find hope,
wrapped up in grace and favor
bundled up inside you’ll find
the Babe, the Christ, your Savior.
You see this is a gift I too,
once was offered and given
I couldn’t believe it when I found
for my sin’s I was forgiven.
So please won’t you accept,
this gift I have for you . . .
and in faith look inside and see

The True Light of the season,
isn’t wrapped around our trees
nor will you find it hanging
from our outdoor eaves.
The True Light of the season,
never burns out or blows a fuse
nor will you find it as a bulb
showing off it many hues.
The True Light of the season,
isn’t put up just once a year
nor will you find it as a part
of your yearly CHRISTmas gear.
The True Light of the season,
cannot be put away or stored
for, the True Light of CHRISTmas
is the Babe, the CHRIST, our Lord.
Jesus, is the world’s Light,
all darkness He came to diffuse
and love, hope, peace and joy
in your life He wants to infuse!

There is a CHRISTmas gift,
that needs not be wrapped
a present that is free . . .
won’t leave you feeling strapped.
You can’t find it at the mall,
nor see it on your TV
there’s no place on-line
where this gift you’ll see.
It’s available all year through,
not just at CHRISTmas time
and the best thing about it
it won’t cost you a dime.
It’s a gift undeserving,
you could never earn it
but when you try it on
it will be the perfect fit.
If you would like this gift,
ask Jesus into your life
confess to Him your sins
and all your earthly strife.
For God has given to you,
the gift of eternal grace
in our Lord and Savior
and it’s yours to embrace!

Lord, I don’t have gold or frankincense,
nor do I have any myrrh . . .
but, I have gifts just as wonderful
and I know You will concur.
For, what I have to offer You,
is more precious to You then these
so, I come to You with my treasures
and offer them to You on my knees.

CHRISTmas comes,

May the peace of Jesus,
fill the world with tranquility
may it spread across the land
and end all the hostility.
May God hear the entreaties,
from those who live in unrest
may He silence their enemies
and bring hope in their distress.

comfort all who are terrorized
