Who can fully comprehend,
God’s love that is world-wide
who can grasp the call . . .
to come and be His bride?
Who can fully understand,
a love that is without end
who can figure out
having a eternal Friend?
Who can fully embrace,
love going into eternity
who can stretch their hearts
into this place of serenity?
Who can fully fathom,
love reaching deep within
who can see the real need
for forgiveness of their sin?
Who can fully comprehend,
the love God has for everyone?
Only those who can grasp it . . .
are the ones who love His Son!

People come, people go,
but God will never leave
abandon you He will not
this you must believe.
People remain, people walk,
but Jesus always stays
His love for you will last
throughout all of your days.
People please, people offend,
but God will not let you down
He promises never to leave
and to always be around.
People help, people hinder,
but Jesus won’t disappoint
He’s your heart’s soothing balm
your soul’s healing ointment.

but God’s love stays forever true

He took two threads of love,
wove me in the womb
covered me with a tapestry
that was made upon His loom.
He did the fine needlework,
of all the fibers of my frame
He skillfully sewed us together
so our image would be the same.
He embroidered in my soul,
the desire to know His will
then interlaced us together
with the Holy Spirit’s seal.
He stitched so intricately,
all the details inside of me
so that the fabric of His life
the unwoven eye could see.
He held the needle in His hand,
and used love as His thread . . .
He formed me in the womb
so to Him I’d be forever led!

There isn’t a heart to cold,
that God can’t melt . . .
there isn’t one to stony
that He can’t be felt.
There isn’t a heart to cynical,
that God can’t shake . . .
there isn’t one to hardened
that He can’t break.
There isn’t a heart to rigid,
that God can’t move . . .
there isn’t a heart to rough
that He can’t smooth.
There isn’t a heart to lost,
that God can’t find . . .
there isn’t a heart to far off
that He’d leave behind.

For God so loves the world,
He gave to all His only Son
who came to mend and heal
the heart and soul of everyone.
It doesn’t matter your race,
or the color of your skin
Jesus wants to forgive you
and cleanse you from your sin.
You may be rich and happy,
you may be poor and weak
but we’re all bankrupt
if His grace we do not seek.
You may be blind or deaf,
but that won’t stand in His way
for He came to teach and show
how sin causes death and decay.
You may be a thief or murderer,
an idolater or an oppressor
but that won’t stop His promise
to set free every transgressor.
It doesn’t matter your offense,
to Him all sin is the same
what matters most to Jesus
is to believe in His name.
For God so loves the world,
He gave to us His only Son

God’s love is like a dewdrop,
that glistens in the sun
glowing in the warmth
from the light of His Son.
It’s a breath of fresh air,
full of the fragrance of spring
filling up the senses
with the beauty that it brings.
It’s as sturdy as an oak,
as solid as a Rock
firmly holding onto those
who gather as His flock.
It’s a taste of pure heaven,
a piece of pleasure and delight
to savor in the morning hours
and enjoy throughout the night.
It’s as straight as an arrow,
knowing its intended mark
aiming for those who wander
to have a change of heart.
It’s as boundless as the ocean,
an endless mountain stream
flowing with living waters
that has no edge or seam.
God’s love is gentle as a Lamb,
so tender and so calm
for it brings comfort to the soul
just like the soothing of a balm!

Jesus loves you,
like no one else ever will
no other could impart
the hope He can instill.
Jesus wants you,
like no one else could aspire
no one can stir your soul

on the horizon . . .
I can see the clouds
beginning to brighten.

God’s love is endless,
we cannot measure it
in the entire universe
not all of it would fit.
The expansiveness,
of the world around us
can’t contain all His love
for it is more than lush.
Even in the vastness,
of the space above
could the totality of it
be filled with His love.
The earth and seas,
and all that is below
could not hold His love
for they would overflow.
God’s love is endless,
forever it will go on . . .

They say love makes,
the world go around
but in these times . . .
it’s harder to be found.
We want to find love,
lasting and real . . .
love that goes deeper
than just how we feel.
We search for it,
in all sorts of places
we look to find it
on stranger’s faces.
Seldom do we see,
our need for true love
is not of this world
but from God above.
So if we want to know,
a love that is greater
we needn’t look past
our Lord and Savior.
For, there’s no better love,
on which we can depend
than the one that comes . . .
from our eternal Friend!

A heart that is peaceful,
knows in God it can trust
it knows believing this
is a daily do and must.
It’s a heart satisfied,
it knows God ‘s always there
it knows it can give Him

A heart that is content,
knows God is good
it knows He will do
just what He should.
It’s a heart committed,
to go where He leads
it knows He will supply

A heart that is devoted,

If Jesus loves the sparrows,
flying high in the sky . . .
you can be sure He loves
the likes of you and I.
For, if He provides for them,
He will for us too . . .
all we need to do is ask
then watch for what He’ll do.
If, Jesus loves the sparrows,
that He won’t let them fall
we can rest assured . . .
He’ll be there when we call.
For, if He will save them,
He too will save us . . .
all we need to do is to put
in Him all our faith and trust.
If Jesus loves the sparrows,
we have nothing to fear
for we are more valuable . . .
and are to Him more dear!

To know God is to love Him,
with total devotion . . .
it’s more than just going
through insincere motions.
It’s with all of your heart,
your soul and your mind
not just with words
that are lukewarmly kind.
To love God is to trust Him,
to hunger and thirst
to put His kingdom
into your life first.
It’s knowing His will,
and His ways following
it’s Jesus’ life you find
that you are shadowing.
To love God is to praise Him,
with every inch of your being
for to love and to know Him
is adoration freeing!

from the worries

Love came to deploy

to bring to me pleasure
but they couldn’t convey
love that I could treasure.
For, their love was conditional,
it came at a steep cost
and now I can understand
why I was helplessly lost.
I thought if I set my sights,
on the things of this world
that everlasting happiness
I would be able to unfurl.
But, they soon corroded,
and all turned into rust
that is why it’s only God
in whom I now put my trust.
For His love is a love,
to truly be treasured
for it unconditional . . .
and cannot be measured!

We pick the daisy’s petals,
to see if we’re loved or not
we wish upon a star . . .
hoping our dreams are caught.
We rub a rabbit’s foot,
hoping love comes our way
we kiss a toad in hopes . . .
it turns into a prince one day.
We toss a penny in a well,
wishing love will finally come
we cross our fingers in hope
our heart-strings it will strum.
We look for the golden key,
to open our heart’s door
we seek the rainbow’s end
hoping true love we will score.
We pick the daisy’s petals,

but, we know God loves us . . .
for our lives, Jesus bought!

a fact that is true . . .
just take a look and see
what He did for you.

just take a glimpse
at all He has done.

it removes every doubt
for Love that is perfect
takes all the worry out.

it soaks up the pain

Who can fully comprehend,
God’s love that is world-wide
who can grasp the call . . .
to come and be His bride?
Who can fully understand,
a love that is without end
who can figure out
having a eternal Friend?
Who can fully embrace,
love going into eternity
who can stretch their hearts
into this place of serenity?
Who can fully fathom,
love reaching deep within
who can see the real need
for forgiveness of their sin?
Who can fully comprehend,
the love God has for everyone?
Only those who can grasp it . . .
are the ones who love His Son!

but God will never leave

He took two threads of love,
wove me in the womb
covered me with a tapestry
that was made upon His loom.
He did the fine needlework,
of all the fibers of my frame
He skillfully sewed us together
so our image would be the same.
He embroidered in my soul,
the desire to know His will
then interlaced us together
with the Holy Spirit’s seal.
He stitched so intricately,
all the details inside of me
so that the fabric of His life
the unwoven eye could see.
He held the needle in His hand,
and used love as His thread . . .

For God so loves the world,
He gave to all His only Son
who came to mend and heal
the heart and soul of everyone.
It doesn’t matter your race,
or the color of your skin
Jesus wants to forgive you
and cleanse you from your sin.
You may be rich and happy,
you may be poor and weak
but we’re all bankrupt
if His grace we do not seek.
You may be blind or deaf,
but that won’t stand in His way
for He came to teach and show
how sin causes death and decay.
You may be a thief or murderer,
an idolater or an oppressor
but that won’t stop His promise
to set free every transgressor.
It doesn’t matter your offense,
to Him all sin is the same
what matters most to Jesus
is to believe in His name.

God’s love is like a dewdrop,
that glistens in the sun
glowing in the warmth
from the light of His Son.
It’s a breath of fresh air,
full of the fragrance of spring
filling up the senses
with the beauty that it brings.
It’s as sturdy as an oak,
as solid as a Rock
firmly holding onto those
who gather as His flock.
It’s a taste of pure heaven,
a piece of pleasure and delight
to savor in the morning hours
and enjoy throughout the night.
It’s as straight as an arrow,
knowing its intended mark
aiming for those who wander
to have a change of heart.
It’s as boundless as the ocean,
an endless mountain stream
flowing with living waters
that has no edge or seam.
God’s love is gentle as a Lamb,
so tender and so calm
for it brings comfort to the soul
just like the soothing of a balm!

Jesus loves you,

Roses are not always red,
violets can be white or blue
but what never changes Lord
is the love coming from You.
I know I’m not perfect,
but You love me any way
Your love is like the sunshine
that brightens up my day.

what more could I need
for Your love comes with . . .

God’s love set in motion,
goes round and round
reaches out to the lost
and saves the found.
It is perpetual,
it can’t be stopped
God’s love in motion
can never be topped.
It is everlasting,
it’s for all of eternity
God’s love in motion
brings infinite serenity.
It is unconditional,
there’s no qualifications
God’s love in motion
exceeds all expectations.
God’s love set in motion,
is constant and true
there is not a heart . . .
