A month of praise,
Lord, I offered You
for all for me . . .
that You did and do.
With a thankful heart,
my praise I raised
for with Your mercy
I’m always amazed.
A month of praise,
to You I’ve conveyed
my gratefulness
to You I’ve displayed.
With a song in my heart,
I sung my thankfulness
to orchestrate to You
my true gratefulness.

Thanksgiving Day is over,
but, not my gratitude
for I plan on keeping
a thankful attitude.
For it isn’t about the day,
or the time of year . . .
gratitude in my heart
everyday brings God near.
I will continue to give,
God my thanksgiving
my praise to Him I’ll send
as long as I am living.
I will keep on singing,
my heartfelt adoration
by always showing to Him
my undying appreciation.
Thanksgiving Day is gone,
but, not my thankfulness
for to God I will always be
grateful for His goodness!

for inward reflections
a time to share . . .
outward expressions.
A time to be,
for all things thankful
a time to convey to God
just why we’re grateful.
This is the season . . .
for inner thoughtfulness
a time to thank God
for His kindheartedness.
A time to see,
how much we’re blessed,
a time for our gratitude
to be openly professed.

Lord, give me a thankful heart,
one that is appreciative . . .
one that to all Your blessings
is attuned and sensitive.
Let it be a heart,
that sings its daily praise
let it be my heartfelt gratitude
that to You I earnestly raise.

truly thankful for all things

for so many things . . .
but mostly for my faith
the peace that it brings.

to God thankful

Whatever you do,
do it out of love . . .
do it in the name
of the Lord above.
Be it in a word,
or of a good deed
do it so others will see
why Jesus they need.
Whatever you do,
do it in Jesus’ name
then your praise to God
you need to proclaim.
For it’s to His glory,
that you do all things
and your gratitude
will pull His heartstrings.
Whatever you do,
give to God your praise
thank Him everyday
for His Son that He raised!

Speak to yourself,
with a psalm in your heart
let your praise begin
upon a new day starts.
Sing aloud a hymn,
honoring God’s Word
be it be a spiritual song
or a melody you’ve heard.
Give thanks to God,
for all the things
that knowing Him
in your life brings.
Worship the Lord,
with a song sing
about Jesus being
the King of all kings.
Let your praise flow,
let it pour out
sing hallelujah
with a loud shout.
Speak to yourself,
with a psalm or song
then ask others . . .
with you to sing along!

Lord, I’m so happy,
for this very day . . .
for Your love for me
is again on display.
It is so ever clear,
You are all around
I can feel Your peace
in my heart abound.
Lord, I’m so very glad,
this day You have made
for hearing every prayer
to You that I’ve prayed.
It is a blessing to me,
to spend this time
reflecting on the hope
that in You is now mine.

Lord, may I be thankful,
no matter what life brings
be they be humongous
or annoying little things.
Give me a humble heart,
with a grateful attitude
so that I can show You
my heartfelt gratitude.
Lord, may I be thankful
in any circumstance
be they be enormous
or those a nuisance.
Give me a meekness,
to appreciate them all
knowing You have a reason
as to why on me they fall.
Lord, may I be thankful,
in every situation . . .
may I show my gratitude
no matter my condition!

Lord, today I want to say,
just how I am feeling
how Your love for me
brought me inner healing.
You’ve been so good to me,
though I was not worthy
yet, You still lavished on me
endless amounts of mercy.
Lord, I want to tell You,
how much I’m grateful
for every perfect gift
to You I am so thankful.
You’ve blessed me with,
the faith in Your grace
so that I would not be

Without thanksgiving,
there can be no praise
without our gratitude
accolades we can’t raise.
For when we deny,
God and His goodness
we can’t sing about
His merciful kindness.
Without gratefulness,
there can be no appreciation
without our admiration
there can be no adoration.
For when we dismiss,
God’s love enduring
our thankfulness to Him
won’t be outpouring.
We can’t be thankful,
for what comes our way
unless we learn to keep
our bitterness at bay!

Lord, I’m so very thankful,
for all You’ve given me
for the eyes of my faith
so Your blessings I could see.
Thankful for each season,
You have brought me though
thankful for the cross
that keeps me close to You.
Thankful for the Gospel,
so the truth I may read
thankful that I’ve learned
You are all I really need.

on Your tender mercy . . .
