Put on Christ today,
clothe yourself in love
ask Him to give you
His strength from above.
Then the flesh you’ll not,
be compelled to satisfy
nor to the world’s ways
will you want to comply.
Put on Christ today,
never take Him off
even if the whole world
at you begins to scoff.
Then you will not lust,
after sinful things
that being conformed
to the world brings.
Put on Christ today,
be filled with His fullness
for the world only offers
a life of emptiness!

I rather spend one day,
in God’s presence . . .
then a million years in
the now and present.
For, this world offers not,
what God extends to me
and without His love . . .
from its hold I’d not be free.
I rather be a servant,
to a God that I trust
then to be a slave
to greed and lust.
For, these days are evil,
perilous and wicked
and to its depravity
I’ll not be committed.
I rather spend one day,
with my Lord dwelling
then a second with those
who in sin are living!

Commit your ways to the Lord,
trust Him to complete in you . . .
everything He has started
all that He has yet to do.
Place your life in His hands,
ask Him to be conformed
so your heart and your mind
can be in Him transformed.
Give to the Lord all your ways,
trust Him to lead and to guide
give to Him your every step
and He’ll put faith in your stride.
Give to Him all your worries,
trust Him to give you His peace
relinquish your fears and doubts
for a calm never to cease.
Commit your ways to the Lord,
let Him do what He must do
give to Him your very soul . . .
and He’ll mold His image in you!

I trust Jesus,
more than man
I believe for me
He has a plan.
A plan for me,
to be not conformed
but, rather in Him
to be transformed.
I trust Jesus,
to make a way
through this world
every single day.
A way of hope,
to a place of peace
a way to where all tears
will end and cease.

for I know He’ll finish
what He has begun!

If you want to be transformed,
your mind you must renew
worry, disbelief and fear
you’ll need to put behind you.
Thoughts of faith and trust,
must be your way of thinking
putting confidence in God
should be your only reasoning.
Any unbelief or doubt,
you will need to get rid of
instead your mind must dwell
on God’s peace and perfect love.
You’ll need to think obedience,
if you want to know God’s will
your stubbornness and pride
you’ll need to silence and still.
If you want to be transformed,
then you must be teachable
into the depth of your heart
God must be reachable!
