I waited on the Lord,
and I was renewed
as His strength
I eagerly pursued.

Who can fully comprehend,
God’s love that is world-wide
who can grasp the call . . .
to come and be His bride?
Who can fully understand,
a love that is without end
who can figure out
having a eternal Friend?
Who can fully embrace,
love going into eternity
who can stretch their hearts
into this place of serenity?
Who can fully fathom,
love reaching deep within
who can see the real need
for forgiveness of their sin?
Who can fully comprehend,
the love God has for everyone?
Only those who can grasp it . . .
are the ones who love His Son!

True love does not boast,
it’s not encased in pride
it is always forthright
hasn’t anything to hide.
It is not offensive,
it’s gentle and graceful
it is always patient
never is it forceful.
True love is full of tact,
it’s always to all kind
it doesn’t play games
with someone else’s mind.
It doesn’t act haughty,
or say things causing pain
love that is agape . . .

He took two threads of love,
wove me in the womb
covered me with a tapestry
that was made upon His loom.
He did the fine needlework,
of all the fibers of my frame
He skillfully sewed us together
so our image would be the same.
He embroidered in my soul,
the desire to know His will
then interlaced us together
with the Holy Spirit’s seal.
He stitched so intricately,
all the details inside of me
so that the fabric of His life
the unwoven eye could see.

For God so loves the world,
He gave to all His only Son
who came to mend and heal
the heart and soul of everyone.
It doesn’t matter your race,
or the color of your skin
Jesus wants to forgive you
and cleanse you from your sin.

you may be poor and weak

if His grace we do not seek.

God’s love is like a dewdrop,
that glistens in the sun
glowing in the warmth
from the light of His Son.
It’s a breath of fresh air,
full of the fragrance of spring
filling up the senses
with the beauty that it brings.
It’s as sturdy as an oak,
as solid as a Rock
firmly holding onto those
who gather as His flock.
It’s a taste of pure heaven,
a piece of pleasure and delight
to savor in the morning hours
and enjoy throughout the night.
It’s as straight as an arrow,
knowing its intended mark
aiming for those who wander
to have a change of heart.
It’s as boundless as the ocean,
an endless mountain stream
flowing with living waters
that has no edge or seam.
God’s love is gentle as a Lamb,
so tender and so calm
for it brings comfort to the soul

Roses aren’t always red,
violets can be white or blue
but what never changes Lord
is the love coming from You.

I am not letting,
old age take a hold
for Jesus I’ll continue
to be brave and bold.
Though my hair is thin,

If we’re to grow in grace,
we need to be willing
to receive in our lives
the Holy Spirit’s filling.
For the fruit that He has,
will only start to grow
the more about His power
we understand and know.
If we’re to be productive,
we need more than milk
for it is the meat of the Word
that will go down like silk.
For, it will ease our fears
sooth all of our doubt
for faith without grace
has no where to sprout.
Growing in grace,
we must make a priority
so that our knowledge . . .
in Jesus has clarity!

When you ask God,
a clean heart to create
all of the hardness
will no longer dictate.
Instead it will turn,
into a heart of flesh
so that it’ll no longer
with evilness enmesh.
When you ask God,
to create a pure heart
from all sinful things
you’ll willingly depart.
Instead you’ll pursue,
all things that are just
because now it is God
whom you love and trust.
When a new heart,
in you God creates
a renewed spirit . . .
every day awaits!

For every beginning,
there must be an end
just like a rainbow . . .
must have a bend.
But, He who has begun,
a good work in you
will be there to help
and see you through.
For what He begins,
will not fade away
what He has started
He’ll complete one day.
His love set in motion,
is constant and true
He’ll never cease
taking care of you.
His comfort is steady,
to soothe and to ease
He is always eager
to satisfy and please.
His hope is ceaseless,
forever it goes on
just like a new day . . .
must have a dawn.
His faithfulness persists,
no matter the season
He’ll always forgive you
no matter the reason.
His gentle, kind mercies,
are eternally bound
forever they comfort
they are yours to be found.
His truth sets us free,
from Satan’s deception
and He’ll liberate us all
on the Day of Redemption.
For those who endure,
will be saved to the end
for Jesus has promised
to be our eternal friend.
So, give your life to Jesus,
and you’ll find perfect rest
just like the sun . . .

My ears are attentive,
I listen until I hear . . .

Life can be challenging,
with lots of highs and lows
all depending on the way
in which we have chose.
For it’s all about our choices,
we daily have to make
that determines if we keep
heading for the narrow gate.
Life can be difficult,
with lots of curves and bends
plenty of different ways
leading us to dead ends.
For it’s not always clear,
which road we need to take
but, until God shows us . . .
we need to step on the brake.
Life can be challenging,
but, it really needn’t be
if we left the choice to God . . .
every good path we would see!

The spring of life,
from your heart flow
so that more people
Jesus may know.

This world is not my home,
I am just passing through
and I am convinced . . .
not to weaken to its view.
Yet, it’s thrust before me,
whether I like it or not
but, I must not concede
to the lies that are taught.
It seems wherever I go,
I find much opposition
but, I refused to be
dragged into submission.

for not giving my approval
so every day my mind

God brings me comfort,
when I am afflicted
He brings me peace
when I feel conflicted.
My soul He soothes,
when I’m knee deep in trouble
my heart He calms . . .
when with cares I struggle.

His love causes me . . .

God’s plans for you,
are yours to discover . . .
they’re found in your Bible
from cover to cover.
A future of hope,
for you He has in store
once you open to Him
your seeking heart’s door.
Your life He will guide,
when you seek Him first
He’ll satisfy your needs
your hunger and thirst.
Once to Him you commit,
your steps He will guide
when directions you need
He’ll help you to decide.

but, first you must seek Him
