Who can fully comprehend,
God’s love that is world-wide
who can grasp the call . . .
to come and be His bride?
Who can fully understand,
a love that is without end
who can figure out
having a eternal Friend?
Who can fully embrace,
love going into eternity
who can stretch their hearts
into this place of serenity?
Who can fully fathom,
love reaching deep within
who can see the real need
for forgiveness of their sin?
Who can fully comprehend,
the love God has for everyone?
Only those who can grasp it . . .
are the ones who love His Son!

God’s love is like a dewdrop,
that glistens in the sun
glowing in the warmth
from the light of His Son.
It’s a breath of fresh air,
full of the fragrance of spring
filling up the senses
with the beauty that it brings.
It’s as sturdy as an oak,
as solid as a Rock
firmly holding onto those
who gather as His flock.
It’s a taste of pure heaven,
a piece of pleasure and delight
to savor in the morning hours
and enjoy throughout the night.
It’s as straight as an arrow,
knowing its intended mark
aiming for those who wander
to have a change of heart.
It’s as boundless as the ocean,
an endless mountain stream
flowing with living waters
that has no edge or seam.
God’s love is gentle as a Lamb,
so tender and so calm
for it brings comfort to the soul
just like the soothing of a balm!

Lord, thank You for today,
help me to use it wisely
let my faith in You . . .
shine ever so brightly.
Bring to me today,
a chance to give You glory
whether it be clear skies
or ones dark and stormy.
Let me use my gifts,
so others may truly see
the trust I have in You . . .
is because You dwell in me.
Give me the right words,
let them reveal and show
the many reason why . . .
I need and love You so.

All the way home,
Jesus is leading me
right to His throne
He is taking me.
All I have to do,
is let Him take my hand
so He can bring me
into the promise land.

There is a race set,
before everyone of us
it’s one that we run . . .
because in God we trust.
It must be ran with a lot,
of patience and persistence
for narrow is the way
and long is the distance.
There is a race ongoing,
many ran it before
and we must win it . . .
to enter heaven’s door.
We must be willing to lay,
all of our sins aside
so that we can run it
with a faithful stride.
There is a race to finish,
it will take endurance
and the grace of Jesus
is our eternal insurance!

I lift my eyes heavenward,
till I envision in my mind . . .
the glory that’s awaiting me
the day with Jesus I will be
My heart swells up with joy,
a chorus of praise begins
for all God is doing for me
till with the Lord I will be.
My spirit sings sweet melodies,
eternal peace they usher in

Lord, I can hardly wait,
for when my eyes take in
a place with no evil
nor any kind of sin.
To see the true joy,
beaming off each face
of those who believed

Keep me focused on You Lord,
when going through the fire
keep my eyes straight on You
so I’ll know Your heart’s desire.

Lord, I know you have a bottle,
collecting all my tears . . .
from the pain and sorrow
I’ve had throughout the years.
They must be overflowing,
forming a river wide and deep
and I’m sure before my life ends
I’ll have more of them to weep.
Lord, I know You know my pain,
for You have suffered too
and I wonder if there’s a bottle
up in heaven just for You.
It must be gushing over,
with all the tears You’ve cried
over those who don’t believe
why for them You died.

Father, when I think of the things,
with Your fingers You have done
I stand in complete awe . . .

One day this imperfect me,
will be finally complete
when my Lord and Savior
I’ll at last come to meet.
For when I get to heaven,
and see Him face to face
all my imperfection
will be erased by His grace.
My eyes will be wide open,
as His presence I take in
I will watch as I transform
to be like the One ~ without sin.
The fullness of His glory,
through me will finally glow
this flawed and broken me
again I will never know.
One day this imperfect person,
will be at last free . . .
when Jesus perfect image
takes over the likes of me!

In this, our worldly home,
there is misery and pain
we toil and we labor . . .
but, it’s all done in vain.
We fight off temptation,
do the best not to fail
for we know that satan
is always on our tail.
We have hunger pangs,
that can’t be satisfied
in a world where evil
each day is magnified.
We know on this earth,
there will be a lot of grief
but, its solution’s only bring
a false sense of relief.
In this, our worldly home,
there is so much daily pain
but, in our heavenly one . . .
sin’s curse will no longer reign!

My heart shall not tremble,
with any dread or fear . . .

Because of Jesus,
I have God’s peace within

There is nothing I can do,
no magic door to enter in
if I want to get to heaven
there’s no lottery I can win.
There’s nothing I can do,
no purchase to make my way
for there isn’t enough money
to compensate for my stay.
There is nothing I can do,
to reserve a room for me
none of my works on earth
comes with such a guarantee.
There is nothing I can do,
to enter into God’s kingdom
no way for me to earn
the access or the freedom.

for Jesus paid the full price

I hold on to my hope,
I will never let go . . .
for I believe God’s peace
I will eternally know.
For He has promised,
He has a room for me
and that up in heaven
with Him I will be.
I hold on to my faith,
I will not waiver . . .
for I know that Jesus
is my Lord and Savior.
For He is faithful,
right up to the end
I know no other
to be a better Friend.

If Jesus said,
He would prepare
a room for us . . .
we must be aware.
Aware that we need,
to make a reservation
by excepting God’s gift
of eternal salvation.
If Jesus told us,
there are many mansions
you can be sure they’ll be
room for expansion.
For God wishes not one,
person to perish . . .
for each one of us
He does cherish.
If Jesus said He’d prepare,
for me and you a place . . .
it’s only because we have
put our faith in His grace!

the pathway to heaven paved.
If with all your heart,
you believe and trust
that He rose from the grave
to give hope to all of us.

When in heaven,
Jesus I finally see
I’ll thank Him for saving
the likes of me.
I will let Him know,
why I’m so thankful
how to Him I am
eternally grateful.
When to heaven,
I finally arrive
Jesus I will credit
for keeping me alive.
For once in sin,
I was truly dead
until I found out why
His blood He shed.
When to heaven,
I finally get . . .
I will do so without
having shame or regret!

I’m getting a makeover,
its going to be extreme . . .
the day my new body
in heaven I redeem.
It will no longer be vile,
but, will be one glorious
for I will be clothed . . .
in Christ’s righteousness.
I’m getting a makeover,
death no longer will sting
for when I get to heaven
all new things it will bring.
A tear will not fall from,
these seen everything eyes
nor to satan will I need
to be looking out for His lies.
I’m getting a makeover,
I can hardly wait . . .
for the day when I enter
through the straight gate!

On the path to perfection,
there will be a lot of bumps
obstacles to get over
with many terrifying jumps.
For we are challenged,
to keep to the narrow way
and we must remain sinless
if on it we’re to stay.
On the path to perfection,
there will be a lot of noise
plenty of outside confusion
demanding our inner poise.
For we will come across,
opposition of every kind
wanting to rid God . . .
from our hearts and minds.
On the path to perfection,
God wants us to stay . . .
so when we come to the end
we can be with Him one day!

You may have a nice home,
drive a luxury car
but, if you don’t know Jesus . . .
you won’t get very far.
You may make six figures,
vacation for weeks in Rome
but, if you don’t know Jesus . . .
you don’t have an eternal home.
You may have a big yacht,
sail around the high seas
but, if you don’t know Jesus . . .
paradise you will never see.
You may eat lobster and caviar,
dine out in the finest place
but, if you don’t know Jesus . . .
you’ll never understand His grace.
You may be rich and famous,
you name maybe well known
but, if you don’t know Jesus . . .
in heaven you will be unknown!
