I will get through this,
I will not dread
I will not fear
this storm ahead.
I will not be tossed,
I will not sink
I will not go
over the brink.
I will not waiver,
I will not doubt
I will not question
how I’ll get out.
I will not let go,
I will not be weak
I will not lose faith
no matter how bleak.
For, I have Jesus,
as my Anchor . . .
together this storm
we will conquer!

Faith stabilizing,
is faith energizing
it’s strong and robust
for in God it trusts.
It believes in things,
it can’t possibly see
it knows Jesus still . . .
calms the storms at sea.
Faith steadying,
is faith unshaken
it’s firm and secure
in truth it’s awaken.
It believes God’s Word,
from it, it waivers not . . .
it remains truehearted
in its mind and thought.
Faith revitalizing,
constantly is renewing
as the narrow way . . .
it keeps on pursuing!

When doubt whispers,
in your ear . . .
tell it right away
to get out of here.
For if you listen,
to what it has to say
it will ruin
the rest of your day.
When doubt looks,
into your eyes
don’t you believe
its fearful lies.
For if you believe,
what it wants you to
with your thoughts
it will twist and skew.
When doubt comes,
close and near
don’t look at it
or give it an ear!

If we ask in faith
then we must believe
if it be God’s will . . .
our requests we’ll receive.
If we ask in faith,
and put aside our doubt
if it be God’s will . . .
our pleas He’ll carry out.
If we ask in faith,
without any hesitation
if it be God’s will . . .
He’ll bless our supplication.
If we ask in faith,
and not have any distrust
if it be God’s will . . .
our prayers He’ll grant us.
If we ask in faith,
if it be God’s will . . .
then our requests to Him
He will indeed fulfill!

Armed with courage,
I pray for everything
in faith, I ask God
without wavering.
I’ll not get tossed,
on the waves of fear
for prayers can make
muddy waters clear.
Equipped with strength,
God’s Word is my shield
as I go out each day
on prayer’s battle field.
I’ll put on my armor,
in all of its entirety
I’ll not be doubt driven
for I trust God entirely.
Armed with prayer,
brave and courageous
my faith in God . . .
makes me dangerous!

In whom do you trust,
to whom do you turn
when driven and tossed
by the winds of concern?
In whom will you focus on,
who will bring you relief
when driven and tossed
by double-minded belief?
In whom do you put your faith,
yo whom do you draw near
when driven and tossed
by the waves of relentless fear?
To whom do you confide in,
to whom do you believe
when driven and tossed
to whom will you cleave?
In whose boat will you stay in,
who will bail you out
when driven and tossed
by the stormy sea of doubt?
In whom do you trust,
to make the winds cease?
Only unwavering faith in Jesus . . .
will bring you true peace!
