I will get through this,
I will not dread
I will not fear
this storm ahead.
I will not be tossed,
I will not sink
I will not go
over the brink.
I will not waiver,
I will not doubt
I will not question
how I’ll get out.
I will not let go,
I will not be weak
I will not lose faith
no matter how bleak.
For, I have Jesus,
as my Anchor . . .
together this storm
we will conquer!

My anchor is set in the Lord,
my feet are firmly on the ground
though the sea may be churning
I will not get tossed around.
Waves of disappointment,
keep coming into my boat
but, I know my faith in Jesus
will help keep my hope afloat.
Discouragement sprays at my face,
rain falls like sheets of fear
but, I am not disheartened
for my Savior is always near.
The darkness surrounds me,
don’t know what lies ahead
but, my light comes from Jesus
and I know I’ll be Spirit lead.
I know not where I’m going,
for the compass is in His hand . . .
but, I know it’ll be in His strength
that this storm I will withstand!

Jesus is my Peace,
my hope’s assurance
He is my calm
giving me endurance.
Jesus is my love,
my faith’s objective
He is my purpose
giving me perspective.
Jesus is my anchor,
my trust’s serenity
He is my Rock
giving me tranquility.
Jesus is my Advocate,
my sin absorber
He is my Refuge
giving me a safe harbor.

I’m riding out these waves,
no matter how big they get
I will stick out this storm
and over it I’ll not fret.
For, Jesus is with me,
we’re in this boat together . . .
and He has promised to me
any storm we could weather.
As the winds barrel down,
I’m going to coast along
they’ll not blow me away
regardless of how strong.
For, Jesus is my Anchor,
onto Him I’ll keep my hold
for, we’re in this boat together
no matter how hard we’re rolled.
I’m riding out these waves,
I’ve the perfect ship mate . . .
for, Jesus is in this boat with me
and I trust Him with my fate!

My heart and soul,
in God are invested
so I call on Him . . .
wherever I’m tested
I use my Bible,
to help and defend
whatever tempest
that He may send.
I hold onto the truth,
when trials I fight
I know it will lead me
straight into His light.
When storms blow in,
on My Rock I stand
and Anchor myself
right into His hand.
My heart and soul,
are fully invested
tis why I trust God . . .
whenever I’m tested!

Dear heavenly Father,
I want to thank You so
for always being with me
wherever I may go.
For being my true lamp,
my life, way and light
for the tender mercy
You send me day or night.
For giving me refuge,
under Your mighty wings
for the stillness I have
in the storms life brings.
For being my Rock,
the anchor of my trust
for always being loving
gracious, kind and just.

My Anchor is strong,
heavier than any steel
it is so powerful . . .
it can restore and heal.
My Anchor is mighty,
it holds me together
so I can withstand
whatever the pressure.
My Anchor is sturdy,
it is solid as a Rock
from off of it . . .
I can’t be knocked.
My Anchor is sure,
it is firm and steady
in any circumstance
for me it is ready.
My Anchor protects,
delivers and provides
my every single need
it always supplies.
My Anchor holds tight,
it’ll not let me sink
My Anchor is strong . . .
for, it knows I’m weak!

My heart belongs to Jesus,
no one can take it away
nothing can ever tempt me
from Him, to go astray.
For, Jesus anchored Himself,
straight into my soul
giving me the strength I need
to have self-control.
My heart belongs to Jesus,
I don’t care what people say
none of their new age views
can cause it to drift or sway.
For, Jesus has given me,
peace beyond understanding
on the mighty Rock of God
firmly will I be standing.
My heart belongs to Jesus,
with Him, I am in love
and one day in paradise . . .
with Him I’ll be above!
