For those who are hungry,
to find meaning in their life
for all who are left wanting
by the weight of their strife.
Come and taste of the Lord,
let Him fill you with His peace
learn to trust in Him . . .
and your huger pangs will cease.
Come and sip from the well,
where eternal life flows . . .
His kindness will pour forth
as in your heart He grows.
Come and see that He is good,
for bountiful is His grace
tender mercies He has stored
await your heart’s embrace.
Come all who are hungry,
those who are wanting too . . .
come and taste His goodness
experience all He has for you!

I’ve tasted the goodness,
from God’s banquet table
I’ve feasted on His Word
and now it’s a daily staple.
I’ve supped on the truth,
with my Lord and Savior
and now His Way of Life
I’ve come to truly savor.
I’ve been to the buffet,
of God’s benevolence
and now I understand
the meaning of excellence.
I’ve had my hunger satisfied,
by my faith supplier
and now I know just who is
my daily bread Provider.
I’m blessed beyond measure,
for I’m full of God’s fullness
now that I have feasted . . .
upon all of His goodness!

I have had a taste of God,
and all of His goodness
I have sipped from His cup
of truth and righteousness.
It left me with no appetite,
for the world or its ways
it has given me hope . . .
for peaceful, joyful days.
I have had a taste of God,
His kindness I now savor
for I have found in Him
my Lord and my Savior.
It left me with no craving,
for the world and its lust
it has given me the faith . . .
to put in Him my trust.
I have had a taste of God,
now my thirst is fully satisfied
my hunger pains are no more
once my heart, Jesus occupied!

God is good,
look at all He has done
think about the hope
you have in His Son.
God is awesome,
see what He’s doing
your heart and soul
He is pursuing.
God is amazing,
doing mighty things
when you trust in Him
blessings He brings.
God is wonderful,
see what He’s able to do
a true believer . . .
He’s making out of you.
God is good,
all of the time . . .
see all of those mountains
you are able to climb!

Lord ~ You’re the salt of my life,
You add to it so much flavor
I’m so grateful that I made You
my Lord and eternal Savior.
Everything else around me,
seems so very bittersweet
You are the only One I know
who makes me feel complete.
When I think of Your great love,
I find to You I am indebted
I’m so thankful that Your grace
in my heart is forever embedded.
Lord, You are the salt of my life,
all Your goodness I truly savor
I’m so glad You are the One . . .
that gives my life so much flavor!
