God, my Thanksgiving,
my Salvation, my Song
thank You for making
my faith in You strong.
For You have shown me,
the Truth and the Way
Your mercy and grace
shine on me each day.
God, my Gratefulness,
my Gladness, my Delight
thank You for showing me
Your eternal Light.
For before You I was,
thankless and merciless
but Your love for me
now brings peace ceaseless.
God, my Thanksgiving,
my praise to you I sing . . .
for all of the blessings
to me You daily bring!

Where there is peace,
there is thanksgiving
where there is praise
there is holy living.
Where there is calm,
there is joyfulness
where there is trust
there is cheerfulness.
Where there is tranquility,
there is anticipation
where there is hope
there is salvation.
Where there is serenity,
there is reliance
where there is faith
there is guidance.
Where there is peace,
there is thanksgiving
where there is gratitude
there is a calm unflinching!

The path of praise is paved,
with songs of joyousness
glorious hallelujahs
sung with thankfulness.
Praise fills the hearts,
of those who seek the Lord
they sing salvation’s song
with gratitude in each chord.
Trusting voices raise offerings,
of praise and adoration
to their almighty God
they sing their admiration.
Faithful lips sing the words,
of devotion to their Savior
praising and thanking Him
for His grace and favor.
The path of praise is paved,
with hallelujahs galore
filled with joyous thankfulness
to the One who they adore!
