If we’re to grow in grace,
we need to be willing
to receive in our lives
the Holy Spirit’s filling.
For the fruit that He has,
will only start to grow
the more about His power
we understand and know.
If we’re to be productive,
we need more than milk
for it is the meat of the Word
that will go down like silk.
For, it will ease our fears
sooth all of our doubt
for faith without grace
has no where to sprout.
Growing in grace,
we must make a priority
so that our knowledge . . .
in Jesus has clarity!

But grow in grace,
and in the knowledge
of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now
and for ever. Amen.
For when for the time ye ought
to be teachers, ye have need that
one teach you again which be the
first principles of the oracles of God;
and are become such as have need
of milk, and not of strong meat.
