Agape Love ~

True love does not boast,
it’s not encased in pride
it is always forthright
hasn’t anything to hide.

It is not offensive,
it’s gentle and graceful
it is always patient
never is it forceful.

True love is full of tact,
it’s always to all kind
it doesn’t play games
with someone else’s mind.

It doesn’t act haughty,
or say things causing pain
love that is agape . . .
does not things in vain.

The truest form of love,
is filled with truth and light
for it wants to be to Jesus . . .
always pleasing in His sight!

Love Agape ~

True love does not boast,

My Warts and All ~

I kissed me a prince,
but he turned into a toad
then he sent me packing . . .
down the lonely road.

So I went out searching,
looking for someone to love . . .
thought he’d be here on earth
instead He came from above.

With all of my ugly warts,
Jesus saw what was inside
for He discovered in me . . .
what other’s tossed aside.

He peered into my soul,
looked deep into my heart
so I took a leap of faith and found
my True Love from the start.

So if you are out there looking,
for a Prince to forever love . . .
stop chasing after all the toads
and just look to Jesus up above!

Warts and All !

I kissed me a prince,
but ~ he turned into a toad
sent me packing . . .
down the lonely road.

So I went looking,
for my true love . . .
thought he’d be here on earth
instead, He came from above.

With all of my warts,
Jesus saw what was inside
my true love found in me
what other’s only denied.

He peered into my heart,
He looked deep into my soul
so I took a leap of faith . . .
and now I’m complete and whole.

If you are out there looking,
for a  Prince to  forever love . . .
then the moral to my story
is to ~ just look above!

When I Consider . . .

When I consider.
all of the universe . . .
it is with You God
I want to converse.

I climb my mountains.
I walk my stormy sea
but it is with You . . .
that I long to be.

For, You are my maker,
You are my heartbeat
and I long for the day
that we shall meet.

When I look at the sky,
beyond the horizon . . .
I see Your kingdom
and the light of Your Son.

I am drawn,
into eternity . . .
for I know
with You I’ll finally be.

Lord, You are my salvation,
the only hope I cling to
and I cannot wait . . .
till I spend eternity with You.

As I look in the distance,
I see a glimpse of love
that which my heart knows
comes only from above.

Lord, when I’m in heaven
I will fall at Your feet
praising You always . . .
for I will then be complete!
