In the land of in-between,
I sometimes have to wait . . .
where my faith in the Lord
I ponder and contemplate.
I would rather be an eagle,
whose on the mountain top
but in the land of in-between
God often makes me stop.
I believe He brings me here,
to find for me His will
but, when I’m in, in-between
it’s so very hard to be still.
When God has me stopover,
in the land of in-between
I know that it is because
on Him He wants me to lean.
In the land of in-between,
there’s a lot to contemplate
if I’m to grow my eagles wings
I must learn to trust and wait!

As I woke up today,
I sought God’s will
and He said to me my child . . .
lie there and be still.
So I stayed in my bed,
wondering about the day
and He said to me my child . . .
I will lead you the way.
As I pulled off my covers,
so my day I could start
and He said to me my child . . .
let me have all your heart.
I didn’t know just what,
with the day I was to do
and He said to me my child . . .
let Me influence you.
As I woke up today,
God’s will for me I sought
and He said to me my child . . .
give me your every thought!

Lord, I know You’re faithful,
honest and reliable
and that in Your hands
I need to remain pliable.
For, You will surely do,
all that You say You will
and it is up to me . . .
to wait on You and be still.
Lord, I know You’re trustworthy,
competent and dependable
and that without Your power
the goal is unattainable.
For, the way is straight,
and on it I must not bend
if I want to be with You
when I get to the end.

in helping me to be blameless

Sometimes it is hard,
for us to stand still
while we are waiting . . .
to know God’s will.
The mind does not get,
the reason for the delay
causing our hearts to fall
into a state of dismay.
Sometimes it is difficult,
for us God to hear
sometimes it seems
He’s far away not near.
The silence is deafening,
it’s seems like an abyss
it feels as if our prayers
are being dismissed.
Sometimes it is challenging,
when God we can’t find . . .
tis why we must seek Him
with all our heart and mind!

Knowing God’s will,
takes a lot of patience
before He reveals
all He has awaiting us.
It takes a heart yielding,
to know just what to do
it takes a life willing
to wait till He shows how to.
Knowing God’s will,
takes a lot of believing
that His plans for you
one day you’ll be receiving.
It takes one step at a time,
made with faith and trust
for us to be able to see
the purposes He has for us.
Knowing God’s will
doesn’t come to us overnight
it takes time for God . . .
to reveal His divine insight!

Drawing near to God,
is our daily choice
if we truly want . . .
to hear His voice.
We’ll need to remain,
quiet, calm and still
till we understand
just what is His will.
Drawing God nearer,
is the only way
we will ever hear
what He has to say.
We’ll need to give God,
ears open and waiting
as His plan for us . . .
He’s purposely shaping.
Drawing near to God,
God drawing us nearer
so that His voice . . .
can be heard clearer!

Speak to me Lord Jesus,
make Yourself known
so that Your plans
can to me be shown.
Tell me what to do,
prepare for me the way

to what You have to say.

God equips His vessels,
according to His will
all He wants them to do
is to wait and be still.
He has a purpose,
for each vessels use
and until He is done
He’ll not set them loose.
God shapes His vessels,
as He sees fit
He molds each one
of them bit by bit.
He has a plan,
for forming each one
as He works into them
the image of His Son.
God equips His vessels,
with all things pleasing
as the power of Jesus
He begins releasing!

I have found,
God’s timing’s the best
on this fact
I have come to rest.
For His plan is always,
the only perfect one
so I’ve learned to wait
until He is done.
I have found,
God not to ever push
so I know not to be
in a hurry or a rush.
For He has a hand,
on all He does
so I stay still . . .
simply because.
I have found,
God’s timing to be
perfectly fitting
and suitable just for me!

Wait-training,
we all need to go through
it’s something . . .
we must to learn to do.
For, God wants to teach us,
how on Him to rely
and to trust Him when
He’s got us on standby.
It will take patience,
and a lot of practice
for wait-training requires
us to be proactive.
For, God wants to show us,
His timing is the best
through He’s got us waiting
we can still be at rest.
Wait-training,
takes a lot of fortitude
for it takes strength to have
a surrendered attitude!
