More seeing. Sometimes the picture pops out. Sometimes it doesn’t. And, you have to work the scene. I’ve passed this place many times. But, this was the first time I’ve seen the place so heavily tagged. It caught my attention. I stopped. I looked. I started making pictures as I explored. This picture didn’t find me until I started walking back from the end of the rail spur. I photographed it in a number of ways. I like straight horizontal lines. Some people like straight angled lines. This framing is sort of Asian.
The picture. Hmmmm. I think I told you just about everything. Most of the post production was done to make sure that the reflection wasn’t buried in shadow.
One more thing. There’s been a little discussion about whether tagging is a kind of folk art or vandalism. My answer is that it depends. What do you think?
