Two in one:

On this occasion I attempted to be clever and combine  Ike's Challenge with a card swap I am participating in.   The first, Ike's Challenge , seemed very simple…Tickled Pink using one of Ike's images …no problems I thought despite not being a pink crafter or person!   The second part however left me pondering for quite some time.   The swap requirements were:   must be about the person’s hobby; and contain a die cut and a stamped sentiment.   In this case I decided I would use crafting as their hobby. Things were so bad I’ve actually had two attempts at combing both and failed!   For the first card I thought I’d go for how my desk looks when I craft…basically bits of crafting everywhere.   I used a Tilly day dream backing paper in a sort of pink shade and plonked some walnut stain distress ink over the top.   I roughly chopped up some ‘pinkish’ papers and plonked on the corner…feeling confident at this point I used a crimson arc...

Something a little different.

Because I love Cut and Craft I couldn't wait until my wrist injury was healed to get making this fantastic kitchen, okay my general love of kitchens helped too. At this point I should warn you poor readers that there will be a lot of photos in this post.  I followed most of the instructions from Cut and Craft however I do confess that after making the sink unit the rest became very self explanatory.  This is one of the easiest things I have ever made and so much fun.  I have tried to incorporate the challenge requirements for IKE's challenge.   So I've got some Easter eggs hidden around the kitchen ready for the "Easter" egg hunt and my walls have portraits/paintings of Ike's images.  The challenge can be found here.
