My Boy

Well this is a classic Hunter picture. My boy loves Flags and singing the national athem. He has known how to sing the whole national athem word for word since he was 4 years old. He just LOVES it! My papa had alot of flags and gave Hunter a few last week and this is what he decided to do with two of them. The long stick is his walking stick. Dont ask me why he thought he needed a walking stick but he did and finally he had a flag to tape onto it. So the long stick is ducked taped to the bike. He did it all by himself yesterday. He just cracks me up some of the things my boy does. It is truely priceless. Such neat memories to remember.

Fun at the Beach

This past Saturday we as a family all went to Granbury for Hunter's rodeo. He did GREAT! We then drove to Corsicana and spent the night in a hotel and got up Sunday to drive to Winnie. Winnie is about an hour from Houston. That is where David's boss lives and we went to visit. He and his wife just built a home and it was great. We all had a great time. While we were there we went to a small beach about 30 minutes from Winnie. It was not a beautiful beach but it was a beach none the less and the kids LOVED it as you can see in the first picture. The water was unbelievably warm. It was like warm bath water. It was kind of neat but it was SOOOOO HOT that we almost wanted the water to be a little cooler. We didn't bring much to play with or anything so we didnt stay a long time but the kids really enjoyed it as did David and I.

Hunter's main goal in going to the beach was not really the water at all but Sea Shells. He wanted to find as many cool sea shells as he possible could. David and I have decided that he is kind of a pack rat. He loves to keep things such as rocks, feathers, shells, and lots of other things. He does nothing with them except puts them on his shelves in his room. It kind of drives me and David crazy but oh well. What ever turns his crank, as David says. HA
Oh my boy is growing up way toooooooooo fast. This picture makes him look so grown up.
Sydnee loved the sand. It was so soft and gooey and warm. She played and played.

Fun with Dad!
Isn't my family good looking. HA

Well this last picture of Hunter just cracks me up. He is so into the weird smiling thing and now his eyes look like they are bugging out of his head but really in this picture he is in complete and total heaven. He is at David's bosses house catching frogs. Oh Oh OH how he loved catching frogs. He is SOOOOOOOOOOOO All boy! They had a large pond also that had ALOT of cool looking Bull Frogs and we tried to catch one when it got dark but they are just toooo fast. They are so cool looking though. I wish I would have taken a picture of one. While Hunter was doing all this frog catching, Sydnee was playing with Chloe and all of her fun girl stuff. She had a blast.

David's boss used to live on the Bayou there in Winnie and so we went back to his old house one night and tried to spot an alligator but had no luck. Man did Hunter want to see an Alligator in nature not at the zoo. Alligators are all over in that part of the world but we had no luck spotting one. After having all this fun in Winnie we had to go back to Houston on Tuesday because David had to go to a Safety school for his work. The kids and I just hung out at the hotel while he was in school. We swam and then after the school was over went to a Restaurant to eat. David and his boss and two others ate A TON of crawfish! I wish I had taken a picture of the pile of crawfish that was at our table. It looks awful but really doesn't taste that bad but it is alot of work and very messy to get such a small amount of food out. I ordered some grilled fish and it was GREAT! We then headed home on Wednesday after lunch. We really had a great time despite being in Houston which is like a sauna ALL the time. That drove me crazy. I mean I would shower and fix up and then step outside and start sweating and my hair would drop and frizz, it was just great. HA All in all the trip was great and the best part of it was that we were there as a family, which we dont get to do much of due to David's job. Thanks hunny for everything. We love you and we love spending good quality time as a family. Cant wait until the next time.

First Plane Ride

This morning my parents and I took my nephew, Kam, out to the airport to have a plane ride. I think it was called the Eagle Aviation celebration or something like that. They were giving FREE airplane rides. We thought Kam was going to be the only one to get to ride but they let Hunter ride too. It was alot of fun. Very neat and very exciting.

Too Cute

This is my sister in the middle with Sydnee and Hunter. I just thought it was too cute not to share.
