magnolia post

I’ve been doing alot of coloring lately.  Mostly using copic markers but a few things with colored pencils as well.  I’ve been using copics most of the time because I have a wide range of colors to choose and I simply love the way they look.  This magnolia postage card was created for today’s featured stamper challenge on SCS.

One of the best things about this image is that is was a free digital image from Digi Design House – which is the digital side of The Angel Company.  Included was the postal image as well as the separate leaf image shown in the corner.    The other best thing is that it is a gorgeous image and colors beautifully with any medium.

I printed the image on copic x-press it cardstock and colored with the following copics:

G99-G85-G82-G40
RV11-RV00-RV0000
Boo-B0000,  C7, E37

The background paper is Memory Box Gossamer, the other papers are most likely SU green and gray.  The lace is from my sister-in-laws stash!

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. This is stunning, love the colours and BG paper.
I like using the Copics too but when you only have a few it’s hard to get the shading/blending to look OK. I’m waiting on some more to come so that will help, so at present I’m using my Prisma pencils as well.
