Hi, I am Shalvika. Professionally, I’m an engineer. Besides that, I love reading, watching movies and theater. I myself have participated in a couple of theater productions. I’m a trained kathak dancer. I believe that music lets you breathe. I believe books are the best thing that happened to the human race. I believe in freedom. In letting people be what they want to be. I want to explore a lot of things in life. Learn a lot of things, read a lot, watch a lot, enjoy whatever life brings my way and just, live it to the fullest.
Here on this blog, I’m gonna try to jot down some of my thoughts. Some of them are things that happen to me, some of them are just figments of my imagination and the rest of them are what I feel and think about things. I have loved reading all my life and really wanted to try my hands at writing. So this is my attempt at that.

Oh, it’s a long story from Mahabharata. There was a king named Shalwa. He really wanted a daughter but he never had one till the day he died. So if he would have had a daughter, her name would have been Shalwa’s Shalvika. 🙂
Did I confuse you? There’s actually a lot more to it but, yeah, this is it in a nutshell 🙂 😛

What I find so wonderful about blogging, Shalvika, is that a 22-year-old and a 63-year-old can read each other’s blogs and find common ground or enjoyment. I am an electronics engineer by qualification. But I work in a mechanical engineering oriented job. So I’m a pretty hybrid engineer at the moment! 😛
