Came across a book titled as above few weeks ago.
Talked to friends about it and found that it was kinda interesting.
Having a choice seems like a privilege, seems like a good thing to have. However, does having no choice really suck?
When we have a choice, we tend to consider both the pros and cons of each of the choices that we have. Weighing them will let you make a proper choice. However, give this a thought – what if both choices appeal to you at the same time? It just causes a massive headache, doesn’t it?
By contrast, if we have no choice, we just have to make do with whatever we have. Though it may seem depressing at first if the choice provided is not appealing, we will just take it as we have no choice! we would get used to it soon. Is this a psychological effect thats apparent in all humans?
OK. I was thinking abt all these cause of the tutorials that i have to slot in my timetable. Flexibility in the timetable just gave me more headaches. Shld i put this tutorial on mon morning or tues afternoon. What a waste of brain cells. Sometimes i just wish the timetable is planned out totally for us. No choice!
Im sure the paradox of choice applies to the many of u out there too. You wanna have a choice but dont wanna have a choice sometimes as well.
Aren’t we complicated? Haha
