Do you like your cookies hard or soft??
Subway cookies are nice when they’re soft.
Famous Amos ones are nice when they’re crunchy 🙂

It depends i suppose. Well, one of the subway cookies I had today was HARD. boo!

This week has been one of the longest extended stay in Tampines ever since I stayed in hall. Wed to Sun at least. Went to blk 800+ to have dinner yest night. That place was practically my childhood area.

Changes were practically seen everywhere. Even the nice hokkien mee stall i like best at that area had undergone renovations. Sometimes I wonder how much they have earned with the long queue that was always there since at least 10 years ago. Nonetheless, the people and food there were still the same. Yummy 🙂

It was nice to be able to have leisure chats with the shop uncles whom I have seen since I was a child. Havent seen them much ever since I shifted to blk 400+. The uncles were my dad’s friends.  小弟长大了! Yea, of course. And now they had white strands of hair on their heads too. Time really flies.

I guess i’ll never leave Tampines for its where my roots are grown. Unless for some special reasons maybe… 🙂

I cant believe I was so bored and decided to pay ‘Neopets’ a visit once again.

Oh my, that website certainly took away some of my precious time when I was in primary/secondary school. It was fun when the whole class was playing Blackjack together on Neopets when it was an IT lesson on java, html, etc in secondary sch.

After not touching this webby for a few years, first thing was ‘ Whats my username?’ Totally forgot. Luckily there was a ‘forgot your username’ button and it worked for me.

WHO STILL PLAYS IT NOW?? I can play with you! LOL.

Can do better… haiz

4 papers over.

But why dont I feel that I had already done my best in those papers?

Other than heavenly maths (astronomy), which I felt that I wrote everything I knew, the rest of the papers could definitely be done better.

Both chemistry papers had the same problem. Needed more time. Because of insufficient time / poor time management, I missed out on questions which I knew how to do. To top it off, the mark weightage is quite high for those questions. Haizzz..

As for maths, I had higher expectations but couldn’t match it. 😦

All these certainly made me think whether I was suited for studying…

The only consolation that I can have is my last maths paper next tues. Its the only paper that I’d scored fairly well so far. Let me do my best for it and make me satisfied a bit pls.

For now! PLAY for a few days first 🙂

Fear and helplessness

Posted: November 20, 2010 in Life experiences

Nope not the fear of examinations.

Experienced an acute pain in my stomach today 2hrs after lunch. It was so pain that i could not even sit up right. Came at the moment when I was doing my helpsheet for the exam the following day. Was supposed to study tgt with a friend in the afternoon but had to give it a miss.

Not gastric definitely. Ate the wrong thing for lunch? It was only a Mcspicy meal.

At that moment of time, I was just lying on bed, curling up like a snail, tossing and turning, trying to contain the pain. 2.5 hrs. Thats how long I was trying to endure. Finally the pain just subsided. Phew…

Now i know how helpless ppl can feel when they are the only one at home and no one can help them when anything happen. For my case, its not too bad.  I told my neighbour of the pain and just asked him to let me rest when he came looking for me.

Whats the fear of examinations, as compared to the fear of sensing something wrong within your body and not being able to do anything abt it?

Peanuts, isn’t it?

Look after your body, people. Its the thing that matters most.

There’s just many many stuffs that i wanna do after this 2 weeks pass! I havent had a life for a long time. Pre-uni life was really LIFE.

Let that feeling come back soon plssss.

Badminton, volleyball, running, mahjong, eating, sleeping, singing, movie, chilling out, etc…

Oh my! i really miss home after not going back for a week. I miss my bed too. 😦

I guess i’ll not be going back this weekend again! Toothpaste running out though 😦

What im reading now will DISAPPEAR from my mind once the exams are over. Weeee…

No matter what, we still gotta take a break, isn’t it?

After studying with a bunch of SMU friends on sat, there was a change of initial plans and hence, we headed to the grand cathay as our back-up plan. 🙂

Have gone to the Cathay several times already but this is the first time I went into the Grand Cathay cinema.

We had to fill our stomach before the movie started. Went to a coffeeshop nearby SMU which was famous for its char siew rice. Sadly, the stall ran out of it. So we had chicken rice from the same stall. Perhaps studying took too much from us. Still not full. Zichar – hot plate tofu and black pepper beef. Woot! Yummy.

Koi Koi Koi – Why is there always a long queue for you? 😦

Well, firstly the cinema itself was awesome. Its definitely big. Furthermore, our row had extra leg space and we could stretch as far as we want. Comfy comfy! The cinema, though big, was fully packed when the movie started. Goes to show how popular it was that night. 🙂

Megamind / Unstoppable? I guess the correct choice was made though I havent and dont plan to watch the former.

Why?? (more…)
