Back to Normal?

Yes, I have been absent from this space for a while. Yes, this is one of those posts to explain why.
I took some vacation time at the end of December and flew West to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays with my family. It was a wonderful time of relaxation.
I came back to the East for a few days, and then was off again to Florida for a conference and to spend some time in the sun. Yes, I got a bit of a sunburn. I also got to spend some time with Mickey and the gang at Disney World.
I am back for a few more days before venturing off again. These days are filled with meetings and trying to catch up on work stuff that has been neglected since the middle of December. My next trip will be to Washington, D.C. to take part in the annual March for Life.
If I’m lucky, I will have time to take down my Christmas decorations sometime around the middle of February. If I’m not lucky, I’ll be changing the name of my Christmas tree to an Easter tree.
I do have lots of stuff floating around in my head to post here. And I have even started a few new posts that are still being worked on. If you’re lucky (or unlucky, depending on your opinion of this whole blog) you’ll get something new before Easter. But don’t hold your breath.
