VeraCrypt is a free disk encryption software brought to you by IDRIX (https://www.idrix.fr) and based on TrueCrypt 7.1a. It adds enhanced security to the algorithms used for system and partitions encryption making it immune to new developments in brute-force attacks. It also solves many vulnerabilities and security issues found in TrueCrypt. This enhanced security adds some delay ONLY to the opening of encrypted partitions without any performance impact to the application use phase. This is acceptable to the legitimate owner but it makes it much harder for an attacker to gain access to the encrypted data. This ASN.1 compiler turns ASN.1 specifications into C code. The asn1c is shipped together with conformant BER/DER/XER/PER codecs. This is a library for easy accessing chip cards /smart cards via a chipcard reader. It currently works under Linux, FreeBSD and Windows. It is tested with Towitoko and Kobil readers.

DavUtils is a collection of easy to use WebDAV client tools. The built-in client-side encryption allows you to encrypt and decrypt files on the fly with AES. Currently two command line tools are available: dav is a multipurpose WebDAV client that can be used like the standard unix tools ls, mkdir and rm. The other tool is dav-sync that can synchronize local files with a WebDAV server. It is very flexible and configurable and has advanced data safety features to prevent data loss.
