CamDesk is a free, open source, desktop webcam widget, that was created as home surveillance application. Although others have used it for demonstrations even with CamStudio, and QuickTime Player for screen casting.

Battery Life Saver can extend the life span of laptop batteries. Using a Laptop Battery continuously by overcharging above 90% or by below 15%, reduces its life span. This light-weight .exe program, Battery Life Saver will alarm, on excess charging or discharging. Set the desired Battery Limit Percentage using the slider, say 50% and allow the Battery Life Saver to give alarm. It automatically detects, charging and battery status. WidgetArea is a small simple application that enables you to use images on your hard drive and display them as widgets on your desktop. NOTE: WidgetArea doesn't fully support GIF animations. Mac Usage Instructions: Click the upload image or drag and drop an image there to display in a new window. To close the newly opened image press "CMD+W". To quit WidgetArea press "CMD+Q" To move the image just drag it anywhere on the screen. Yes, you can resize added images in this release. There's no built-in option to adjust pinning or transparency in this release. However, WidgetArea for Mac does support transparent PNG's and GIF images.
