Free and Open Source AI Image Upscaler for Linux, MacOS and Windows built with Linux-First philosophy. Upscayl is a cross-platform application built with the Linux-first philosophy. This means that we prioritize Linux builds over others but that doesn't mean we'll break things for other OSes. Upscayl does not work without a GPU, sorry. You'll need a Vulkan-compatible GPU to upscale images. CPU or iGPU won't work. You can also download the flatpak version and double-click the flatpak file to install via Store but wait for the full release, we'll be pushing it to Flathub for easy access. Upscayl uses AI models to enhance your images by guessing what the details could be. It uses Real-ESRGAN (and more in the future) model to achieve this. The CLI tool is called real-esrgan-ncnn-vulkan and it's available on the Real-ESRGAN repository. -

This repository introduces GIMP3-ML, a set of Python plugins for the widely popular GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP). It enables the use of recent advances in computer vision to the conventional image editing pipeline. Applications from deep learning such as monocular depth estimation, semantic segmentation, mask generative adversarial networks, image super-resolution, de-noising and coloring have been incorporated with GIMP through Python-based plugins. Additionally, operations on images such as edge detection and color clustering have also been added. GIMP-ML relies on standard Python packages such as numpy, scikit-image, pillow, pytorch, open-cv, scipy. In addition, GIMP-ML also aims to bring the benefits of using deep learning networks used for computer vision tasks to routine image processing workflows. -

html2canvas is a JavaScript HTML renderer. The script provides you with the tools to take screenshots of webpages directly on the browser. The screenshot is based on the DOM and therefore, it may not be 100% accurate to the real representation, given that it is not an actual screenshot, but a type of screenshot built based on the available data and information of the page. The script renders such page as a canvas image, by reading the DOM and the different styles of the featured elements. It doesn't require rendering from the server, given that the image is created on the user's browser. However, as it is heavily dependent on the browser, the library is not to be used in nodejs. It can't circumvent any browser content policy restrictions and to render cross-origin content a proxy will be needed to get the content to the same origin. -

A fast image processing library with low memory needs
libvips is a demand-driven, horizontally threaded image processing library. Compared to similar libraries, libvips runs quickly and uses little memory. libvips is licensed under the LGPL 2.1+. It has around 300 operations covering arithmetic, histograms, convolution, morphological operations, frequency filtering, colour, resampling, statistics and others. It supports a large range of numeric types, from 8-bit int to 128-bit complex. Images can have any number of bands. It supports a good range of image formats, including JPEG, JPEG2000, JPEG-XL, TIFF, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, FITS, Matlab, OpenEXR, PDF, SVG, HDR, PPM / PGM / PFM, CSV, GIF, Analyze, NIfTI, DeepZoom, and OpenSlide. Implementation of DALL-E 2, OpenAI's updated text-to-image synthesis neural network, in Pytorch. The main novelty seems to be an extra layer of indirection with the prior network (whether it is an autoregressive transformer or a diffusion network), which predicts an image embedding based on the text embedding from CLIP. Specifically, this repository will only build out the diffusion prior network, as it is the best performing variant (but which incidentally involves a causal transformer as the denoising network) To train DALLE-2 is a 3 step process, with the training of CLIP being the most important. To train CLIP, you can either use x-clip package, or join the LAION discord, where a lot of replication efforts are already underway. Then, you will need to train the decoder, which learns to generate images based on the image embedding coming from the trained CLIP. -

This page will introduce the general concept of point clouds and illustrate the capabilities of pyntcloud as a point cloud processing tool. Point clouds are one of the most relevant entities for representing three dimensional data these days, along with polygonal meshes (which are just a special case of point clouds with connectivity graph attached). In its simplest form, a point cloud is a set of points in a cartesian coordinate system. Accurate 3D point clouds can nowadays be (easily and cheaply) acquired from different sources. pyntcloud enables simple and interactive exploration of point cloud data, regardless of which sensor was used to generate it or what the use case is. Although it was built for being used on Jupyter Notebooks, the library is suitable for other kinds of uses. pyntcloud is composed of several modules (as independent as possible) that englobe common point cloud processing operations. -

An image processing library for Node written entirely in JavaScript, with zero native dependencies. If you're using this library with TypeScript the method of importing slightly differs from JavaScript. Instead of using require, you must import it with ES6 default import scheme. If you're using a web bundles (webpack, rollup, parcel) you can benefit from using the module build of jimp. Using the module build will allow your bundler to understand your code better and exclude things you aren't using. If you're using webpack you can set process.browser to true and your build of jimp will exclude certain parts, making it load faster. The static Jimp.read method takes the path to a file, URL, dimensions, a Jimp instance or a buffer and returns a Promise. In some cases, you need to pass additional parameters with an image's URL. -
