This is the fast and Free (LGPL license) real time MPEG Audio Layer 1, 2 and 3 decoding library and console player. It uses floating point or integer math, along with several special optimizations (3DNow, SSE, ARM, ...) to make it most efficient.

libxmp is a library that renders module files to PCM data. xmp is a module player for Unix-like systems, based on libxmp, that plays over 90 mainstream and obscure module formats from Amiga, Atari, Acorn, Apple IIgs and PC, including Protracker (MOD), Scream Tracker 3 (S3M), Fast Tracker II (XM) and Impulse Tracker (IT) files.

Mikmod is a module player and library supporting many formats, including mod, s3m, it, and xm. Originally a player for MS-DOS, MikMod has been ported to other platforms, such as Unix, Macintosh, BeOS, and Java(!!)

A real-time software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications. It can be used for live audio synthesis of MIDI events or for rendering MIDI files to disk, using SoundFont instruments. It can also be embedded in other applications. This is not a application with a graphical user interface, however there are several GUI applications which utilize FluidSynth.

AudioCraft is a PyTorch library for text-to-audio and text-to-music generation, packaging research models and tooling for training and inference. It includes MusicGen for music generation conditioned on text (and optionally melody) and AudioGen for text-conditioned sound effects and environmental audio. Both models operate over discrete audio tokens produced by a neural codec (EnCodec), which acts like a tokenizer for waveforms and enables efficient sequence modeling. The repo provides inference scripts, checkpoints, and simple Python APIs so you can generate clips from prompts or incorporate the models into applications. It also contains training code and recipes, so researchers can fine-tune on custom data or explore new objectives without building infrastructure from scratch. Example notebooks, CLI tools, and audio utilities help with prompt design, conditioning on reference audio, and post-processing to produce ready-to-share outputs.

This library allows you to easily send and receive MIDI messages on the Arduino serial port. Drumstick is a tool to play music. This is a set of C++ MIDI libraries using Qt5 objects, idioms and style. It contains a C++ wrapper around the ALSA library sequencer interface; ALSA sequencer provides software support for MIDI technology on Linux. A complementary library provides classes for SMF (Standard MIDI files: .MID/.KAR), and Cakewalk (.WRK) file formats processing. A multiplatform realtime MIDI I/O library is also provided.

JACo MP3 Player is a cross platform java mp3 player. Features: very low CPU usage (~2%), incredible small library (~90KB), doesn't need JMF, easy to integrate in any application, easy to integrate in any web page (as applet).

JAAD is an open-source AAC decoder and MP4 demultiplexer library written completely in Java. It is platform-independent and portable.

Thank you for your interest in Speedy Composer. Speedy Composer is an automated application for composing melodies for Speedy Net members. We recently made changes to the source code of Speedy Net, and converted it into the Python language and Django framework. Since Speedy Composer was originally written in PHP, it is not adapted to work with Speedy Net in its current form. So unfortunately we were forced to temporarily close the app Speedy Composer. But don't worry, we kept backups of all the tunes composed by Speedy Composer, and when the website is reopened we will upload them to the new site. Speedy Composer and Speedy Net are open source applications, free software. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us convert Speedy Composer to Python. This lib was produced while I was programming an other program/game. I was tired of pygame's bad system of handling playlists and the management of music in general. With this lib I want to create an layer that allows you to interact with the music, how you would expect it. Currently featuring: -Playlist -Normal pausing and resuming (played time isn’t lost when new song is loaded) -Automatic recognition of songs and adding them to a separate list

Library and command line utility to store binary data in FLAC application metadata blocks, specifically ISO data tracks. Using the data in these blocks it is possible to archive and recreate a bit accurate copy of Enhanced CD/CD Extra discs.

Repackaged what was needed to use jAudioTagger as a library in Java. Made it usable as a netbeans project. Added targets in the build.xml to produce sources jar and javadocs jar for the library jar that is produced. Also uploaded are those jars (that I couldn't find anywhere else).

This library provides functions for reading and writing standard MIDI files. It was originally written by Tim Thompson <tjt@nosuch.com>. It has been modified and corrected by Piet van Oostrum <piet@cs.uu.nl>. I have made some minor changes to it in order to work properly with GCC.
