ThanCad is a 2dimensional cad, with limited 3d support and raster inclusion capability and emphasis in engineering. It is being written in Python and since it uses the Tkinter library, it is platform independent.

The Simple Medical Imaging Library Interface (SMILI), pronounced 'smilie', is an open-source, light-weight and easy-to-use medical imaging viewer and library for all major operating systems. The main sMILX application features for viewing n-D images, vector images, DICOMs, anonymizing, shape analysis and models/surfaces with easy drag and drop functions. It also features a number of standard processing algorithms for smoothing, thresholding, masking etc. images and models, both with graphical user interfaces and/or via the command-line. The applications are all built out of a uniform user-interface framework that provides a very high level (Qt) interface to powerful image processing and scientific visualisation algorithms from the Insight Toolkit (ITK) and Visualisation Toolkit (VTK). The framework allows one to build stand-alone medical imaging applications quickly and easily.

APTOS is an open source Apt translator project. It consists of several CAM applications, based on the Apt programming language. It is used to create control programs for cnc mills, lathes, water jets, lasers, and other industrial equipment.

Buildes is an integrated development environment that assists the user in creating building information. It reads a text (session) file from which it compiles the information. It then allows the user to browse, analyze and export the resulting building knowledge. The compilation system is written in pure Python. The building components created are rendered in PythonOCC. The GUI is written using PyQt.

The program will turn a color into a list of 10 words, obtained according to a custom designed algorithm based on letter shape and position in the alphabet. - Click inside the frame on the left to pick a color through the color chooser window - The program will match the color with the colors corresponding to a list of all the English words contained in the file wordcolor.txt - The first 10 matches will appear in the frame on the right - Right-click - Copy to copy the word matches and the RGB values This version comes with a text file (wordcolor.txt) containing all the English words followed by Red, Green, Blue channel values for the corresponding color. The colors were obtained through a modified version of the program "Text to Color" by same author, available for download on GitHub and SourceForge on the profile page of Fonazza-Stent. The next version (coming soon) will include a tool to convert a custom word list into a word+color list named wordcolor.txt

dedalo is a 2d cad drawing software written in python3. It is licensed under the GPLv3. Dedalo features: layers, snaps (endpoint, intersection, midpoint), line, polyline, rectangle, delete, polygon, rectangle, arc, circle, points, text, spline, freehand drawing. Move, scale, rotate, offset, cut, extend, hatch, dimension, copy. English, italian languages SVG read-write. Not all features all fully supported.
