You can protect the identifying information (Name, Social Security Number and Date Of Birth) if you want that information to be obscured in AGENCY. For example, if you have clients who are also employees, you may not want co-workers to be able to have their information accessible to their colleagues.

To protect a client ID

1. Use the [Quick_Browse] link, and choose 'tbl_client_protected' for your table name
2. Click 'Add a Record' link
3. Choose the client whose personal information you would like to protect
4. Enter fake data for Social Security Number, Date Of Birth, Name, etc.
5. Click 'Submit' and save with password

By using this feature, the fake data will show up in the client view and in AGENCY. If necessary, the database administrator can still pull the real information from the tbl_client table (for reporting or audit purposes) but only the information in tbl_client_protected is viewable on-screen for those clients with a protected ID.
