A quick release this weekend, the new alpha has the following:
* Page, section and document locking.
* Bug manager and reporter.
* Performance tester.
* Kerberos authentication.
And a few other things. Again no installer, going to create an installer next weekend and release a beta.
The next alpha release of bekka has been put live, there are a number of changes in this version, mainly:
* Skin manager
* Site manager
* System & languages manager started
* Site search ability
* Inline editing (give it a go, click on the text in a section)
* Link browser added in to places it makes sense.
* A number of bug fixes.
There is no upgrade from previous versions to the new version, if you would like an upgrade program writing then let me know in the forums.
Bekka has released its third keystone Alpha version, still working towards a Beta version. Again this does not come with an installer and the install process is manual.
Warning! There is no tool to convert older bekka db shapes into newer ones.

Bekka (a Content management system/Portal) has just released its third alpha version. New additions to this version include:
* An image editor with cropping, resizing and rotating.
* Multilingual support with session or domain configuration options.
* Cached application support.
* User interface Improvements.
* Page version control.
* Page moderation control.
* Simple bug watcher.
Work on the first beta is well underway, hopefully it will be released in late January.
I will be releasing the first beta version of Bekka soon. This will sport the following features:
* User registration, management and lost password system with multiple configuration options.
* Permissions system with permissions for objects, applications can inherit object permissions for say page editors, groups, security levels per user. Permissions cascade manager to make setting permissions across an entire website easy.
* CMS with media manager, image editor, link manager, config between simple and complex modes.
* Page, application and config caching.
* Skin manager.
* Application development support, including documents and example application "walkthroughs".
* Single database setup, no local/remote mysql socket worries, only open one connection per apache thread.
* Website manager, lets you add/update websites running on bekka, including management of apache virtualhost conf files.
* Installer - I know the alpha versions were paticularly bad to install, so the beta version will come packaged with everything it needs in a simple to use command line installer.... read more
Bekka has released version 0.1.1 of its Alpha. This has a number of fixes and new improvements. Installation should now be easier aswell.
The first alpha release of Bekka (0.1) has been released. This version of Bekka sports the following:

Multi-user editing enviroment
User & Group manager
Media Manager
WYSIWYG page editing.
Application development support.

Bekka development is moving along swiftly, in another 3 weeks the first alpha release will become available. There will be more information on the exact featureset of the CMS nearer the time.
