Hi,

I have a Dell latitude 6430u laptop, there are three USB 3.0 port and no USB 2.0 port, I try to install yosemite on it follow the guide of Jake Lo, but there is still some problem with the USB 3.0 port, to be detailed,
USB 2.0 device: OK
USB 3.0 device: not recognized, but I can get it works by plug another USB 2.0 device in another USB port.
I have try all these version of GenericUSBXHCI.kext and all these flags from Zenith432 and Rehabman

Please help me

    same here

    1. plug in a USB 2.0 thumb drive to a USB 3.0 port
    2. eject and unplug the thumb drive
    3. connect USB 3.0 portable hdd to that port

I do have the same problem. I need to plug and unplug some selected devices in diferent ports in order to activate one of them.

Same issue here. Plugging in a USB 2.0 drive before the USB 3.0 HDD somehow enables the port to recognise USB 3.0 devices.

But thanks, I haven't figured it out by myself! At least I can use my USB 3.0 devices now temporarily using this workaround.
