Currently machinekit compiles only with <libmodbus-3.1.0
see https://github.com/machinekit/machinekit/issues/1193
so it have to be keyworded accordingly

but the last working libmodbus was removed from gentoo

Can libmodbus-3.0.6 be added to this overlay?

Thank you but the line

modbus? ( dev-libs/libmodbus )

should be changed to

modbus? ( <dev-libs/libmodbus-3.1 )

or other equivalent
