got a new, strange problem for the first time just now.
I'm running ardour in lua mode with a session that has gx-amplifier-stereo-x, among other plugins.
I was doing some stress testing opening and closing sessions over and over and all of a sudden, guitarix broke with the following error in the load_session output:

protocol Wiimote not found

fluidsynth: warning: Instrument not found on channel 3 [bank=0 prog=11], substituted [bank=0 prog=0]

The portions that are new in the output are highlighted in bold. Everything else is normal and expected (as far as I can tell).

I can still hear my guitar, but it sounds like a blown speaker. Like there's no cab. Which makes sense as it looks like cabinet convolver has been disabled. (Note: I set the gx-amplifier cab to "none" and use IRs so the fact that cab simulation is breaking shouldn't matter? Strange.)

Anyway not only did this break, but it stays broken through ardour close and restart, system reboot and even guitarix clean, reconfigure, rebuild and reinstall.

Very bizarre.

    Hi
    The issue here is the blcoksize.
    using block size: 265
    The guitarix convolvers need a blocksize with the power of two. When the blocksize didn't match, the convolvers been disabled. I guess what you miss in the sound is the presence, this one is as well convolution based, and in your setup disabled. Try it with a blocksize of 256 or 512.

    regards
