Backup to Self Extracting exe – Open / Double-click extract the Files not in a directory
The Restore form selecting the exe file works 100%
I guess the new Executable backup, *.exe is not a Self extracting exe as the label on the Backup / Restore screen is displayed. It is a bit confusing – I suggest that the label ID2111 Self extracting exe be changed to Executable exe file.
Backup Self Extracting exe ticked or unticked makes a zip file – not an exe, if ticked.
The zipstub.exe is included in the root of the installation.
It creates an exe and a zip file.
As from version 5.0.0.159, it makes an exe only - correct.
When clicking on the exe, it launches a dos screen and creates the files (books.FDB and other files) in the folder or desktop from where it is clicked on.
Label ID2111 Self extracting exe be changed to Executable exe file.
It works correct from the Backup Restore screen.
Need to add an Icon to the exe.
