This is reported on the forums, I have experienced it.
I believe the problem is reproducible if you turn off Firebird (FB) and try and run TurboCash (TC).
Thus the issue is not an invalid password but a call to connect to a DB application when the application does not exist or is not running. It is not critical but for new users it would be really nice if TC tests to make sure there is a valid DB application available and if it can not find a valid DB application presents a more meaningful error message. If the user is informed with a message like "TC can not connect to a database - please confirm Firebird is running." this would make it easier for new TC users to understand why things aren't working.
